Push a button to hear the time. I've tried several brands for my blind and partially deaf Father. Some of them are very difficult to set (practically impossible) This one is pretty easy to set. The volume is good. Some of the watches are hard to hear. Most elderly people also have a hard time hearing. The Reizen has the best volume. I hope they make it even louder ... show more

This turned out to be a great purchase for my dad. It is a quality made product. The time and day/date/year function are spoken in a clear, precise voice. This makes using the 'talking' function of the watch easy for the hearing impaired user. Highly recommend this watch!

    • Nice watch for visually impaired.
I bought this watch for my dad who has macular degeneration. The watch looks nice and he is able to push a button to hear the time. The "voice" is somewhat quiet, but he is able to hear it. I just gave it to him last week so I cannot attest to its durability.

I got this for my 95 year old dad, who depends on it to keep from calling me at 2 in the morning:) since we are in very different time zones! The large face and clear voice make it indispensable for him. This watch, unlike others I have sent him, gives the day of the week as well as the date.
