Excellent slide grease. I maintain two b flat trumpets and one flugelhorn and these are great. Four tubes will last me many years. The formula is the perfect thickness and not messy. Worth the money.

I have used a lot of valve oil and slide grease for my trumpets. I keep coming back to the chapstick-like slide greases because they are easy to apply and they are not too thick to the point where you have to add oil to make your slides work. For example, I really like the Monster brand oils and greases, but their slide grease (while long lasting and high quality) is also really thick, so I prefer something like the Libretto on slides that I need to move a lot, i.e. the first and fourth valve slides on my trumpets. This stuff is great. I use it on instrument slides and small metal fittings. Doesn’t gunk up and isn’t overly greasy. Has almost no scent, which is a bonus. Stays where you put it and doesn’t dry out quick like cheap stuff.
