This order was for 2 silver plated nuts that secure my Bach Stradivarius trumpet's 3rd-valve slide in place (I washed my trumpet - in a hurry - and accidentally threw out my original two nuts in the wash water).     • Perfect fit
I purchased a new Bach Strat trumpet recently and within 2 months the 3rd valve slide screw worked its way off. Got these as a replacement and they are perfect. Just like the original screw.

    • American guage nuts third value tuning slide
These screw nuts are not applicable with my Besson C trumpet. These are standard American guage and not metric. So I will keep them for later. They do great on my Bach Bb trumpet.

    • Not tight
They're not tight and fall off a bit too easily. I had to add a rubber stopper to keep them from falling off, which it makes it difficult to use my 3rd slide valve fully.
