I am not a hairdresser but I get my haircut every 6-8 weeks by one. Sometimes when I get home from a cut I find hairs that were missed. After resisting temptation for several cuts, I finally broke down and ordered a pair of hair shears. I don't like having to cut my hair but looking at long, out-of-place chunks for 6-8 weeks before my next cut can drive me a little nuts. These do the job. I got this scissors for harvesting my hydroponic lettuce. I carefully trim off the lower leaves as the plant grows. It's comfortable to use and I get a nice clean cut. I got this as I have to trim my bangs at least once every two weeks and this definitely gets the job done! For those of us with bangs, we need EXTREMELY sharp scissors to ensure that we can get a precise trim with the first snip and these definitely meet that standard. I got a pair of these at least over 4 years ago and they had only started to dull around 6 months ago, so it is well worth the couple bucks.
