I am tender headed and it is extremely gentle on the scalp . The bristles are not sharp, but rounded off. Only downside is that the brush is NOT as pink as it is pictured. It's more gold than in the photo. I still love and recommend it.

I've been a loyal Wet Brush user for a decade since I was in high school, my hair has always been super thick and prone to shedding and tangled super easily, and I've always been pretty tender-headed, and it was one of the only brushes I'd managed to find that actually worked with those problems. I saw this brush being promoted by an idol group I like, and thought it looked super cute, and had been wanting to find something small for on the go anyways, so I decided to pick one up. I had no idea it would be so perfect for me! My hands are a bit small so it fits perfectly, it ran through all of my tangles painlessly and without tearing out a lot of my hair, and the bristles actually felt quite nice on my scalp! I don't think I'll be able to look back after this.

I thought it was kind of dumb when I got it as a gift, but it actually is handy that it’s so small and has a cover. The bristles are not very strong or deep, so even with my fine hair I have to go in smallish sections, but it does work and so far has held up well. It’s a cute little thing, but if you have thick hair or serious tangles I would recommend having a more sturdy brush on hand. This would be good for putting in a bag as a travel brush

This brush is very cute, and I love the mirror look. The bristles are very flexible, and this definitely would be good for detangling with a pre poo or a deep conditioner with slip. I would use a wide tooth comb before going in with this hair tool as I normally do when using any detangling brush.
