This product could not have been easier to assemble. It cuts very well. We even used it to cut grass that was very high. It took a lot of abuse before we were able to clogg the machine. The engine is powerful. It mulches well. Unfortunately, the reviews that it drives too fast in self-propel mode are true. This is the only drawback. Because it can be too fast, it is difficult to cut around trees and areas that require precision. Oddly it is very light weight for its cutting ability and we simply push it when we are in close situations. I would purchase this mower again. ... show more

We purchased this self propelled lawn mower after our last one gave out. It was easy to assemble and put it to work that same day. So far, we have used it 3 times and have had no issues with it. The only problem is that we don't use the self propelled option because it takes off fairly quickly and we can't keep up with it. I hope to use the self propelled option once we have more practice with the new machine. One thing is for sure, is that it saves us lots of time because it cuts really fast with no issues. We got the box delivered and it was on its side instead of flat and the paper inside said it should stay flat or right side up during transit but we didn't find anything wrong with it upon opening and assembling it This machine is large. I didn't expect it to be this big but I'm SO happy with it! Both front and back yard was completed so quickly!!! The assembly was easy enough but mostly because I have done this kind of thing before. There was little to no instructions inside on how to assemble this thing. One piece of paper with 4 pics and little to no words to describe or explain what to do. And I didn't see any code to scan to bring up a video or anything either. This one drawback but not anything that would affect my rating of the function though! I just know some people may be interested in that part After assembly, was able to get the oil and gas in with no issues whatsoever and the first crank was so satisfying. Started up with no issues at all. Our grass has gone like a month or so without cutting and there are patches that are so thick it's literally shut down professional landscaper's lawnmowers before. This thing cut right through them like butter. There was one or two spots that sounded like it was wanting to bog down, but this machine ate it like a champ! And the self propelled function is INSANE!!! Nearly snatched the machine out of my hands! All I had to do was steer and this thing took off and did all the work. The mower works well. Only problem was that the air filter cover came broken. I went to our local Briggs and Stratton supplier and they had one on hand. It cost only $3.54 so all is good.

This mower has some serious power and rear wheel drive! Not a good mower for tight places and if you have to mow around a lot of objects, you’ll have to push it and not use the self propelled lever, it’s too fast and powerful. Always starts with one pull and the wheel height adjustment is the easiest on any mower I have ever had! It will take some getting use to, as far as the power goes. ... show more

Mower Works Well Have used the mower 1 time and it works great so far. The only thing to install is the handle which is simple. Follow instructions, add oil & gas and you’re ready to mow. I did not see a primer plunger so I gave it a pull & it started on first pull. The self propelled option works perfectly. I’m 68 with arthritic knees and had no problem keeping up with the speed of the mower. If you need to adjust the speed there are numerous online videos that easily walk you through how to adjust the speed. Very simple Hope this review helps ... show more
