  • Amazing
I've been using this mouse for a few years now and never had a problem with it. Everything on it still works to this day! Also holds a VERY long charge. I'm talking like I probably only charge it once or twice a month even when I'm using it all day for other stuff. I also always have it on eco mode and I turned off the RGB though. I've never had it on regular mode but honestly, I don't think there's a huge difference. It handles all my gaming needs just fine. Even on my hardcore gaming sessions. The mouse is also customizableish if you get the red dragon thing downloaded onto your laptop or pc. The 12 buttons on the side works and helps with easier access to buttons for my games. the mouse speed buttons works also and it gets REALLY fast on the highest setting. I honestly don't see this mouse dying anytime soon even though I use it pretty hard daily. I don't think anyone will go wrong with this mouse. ... show more

  • good mouse for price
Got it as a beginner gaming mouse. Not a hardcore gamer but it gets the job done. Comfortable and lightweight. Lots of buttons for customization.

  • Great for the price
Pros - Works well, software allows for macros, wireless without paying extra Cons - Fwd thumb button dosen't work when more than 2 other buttons are pressed, making it hard to use for intense gaming. macros are only programmable up to 25 button presses and you cannot control the speed. The macro speed is far too fast for most applications. All in all for 15 dollars this is a great mouse. but if you plan on gaming id suggest paying a little extra for a better one. ... show more

  • Download the software for full feature set!
Right off the bat, I wanted to tell you to download the software for this mouse to get its full feature set. If you don't install the software, the mouse will operate with a polling rate of just 125Hz. With the software installed, you can move this up to 500Hz and have a huge benefit to your aim as things will feel much smoother. You can think of this the same way you think of monitor refresh rates, like 60Hz vs 144Hz monitors. --- This mouse hits all the high notes for me: wireless functionality, comfortable grip, LED gamer aesthetic lighting--even if it's just basic red, decent DPI, optical sensor instead of laser, easy to swap AA battery instead of frequent charging, and best of all, a price of a measly $20 bill. Overall the mouse feels like decent quality in your hand, so build quality is solid at this price point. I'll add that I did have to pull small pieces of cellophane plastic off of the rubber feet on the mouse. The manual didn't mention these, but it was obvious that the mouse would slide better by pulling the plastic off and letting the actual rubber touch my mouse pad instead. Maybe this was a factory or manual oversight. I decided on this mouse whenever my Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum started having issues staying connected wirelessly and with the left click not always working. I already had experience with Redragon products, as I use their K551 RGB keyboard with blue switches. I used to play competitive games like Counter-Strike at a near professional level about 12 years ago, but since I'm "retired" from taking games seriously, I can't really justify spending $80-120 on a new mouse these days. Overall I'm super satisfied with this Redragon M656 "Gainer" wireless mouse. It took me very little time to adapt to my new mouse in FPS games like Halo and Valorant. Let's just say for $20, it really fit the bill. Don't forget to download that software to get the full polling rate benefits! Your aim will thank you for it. ... show more

  • Great mouse, great customer service.
Arrived without the USB dongle, chatted with customer service & had a new one 2 days later. Since then, the mouse has been great, and allows precise tuning for handling anything from a small window to a multi-monitor workspace.

  • UPDATE 2: Keeping for travel
While I still do prefer its wired cousin for design/graphics, for my MBP, this is perfect!! I run everything at max res on a 13” and over the years I’ve noticed a significant increase in pins/needles using the Magic Mouse due to its height and flat shape. I have been hesitant to try anything else due to the Magic Mouse’s multidirectional surface scrolling, but I decided that starting every morning with pins/needles after 20min was not fun. This wireless mouse (2.4Ghz USB with USB-A dongle Only, no BT) feels like it’s wired and since I’ve switched to both redragon mice, pins/needles are a rare event… I was surprised at how immediately comfortable this mouse felt to use… but after only a day of use, I purchased another Wired Redragon mouse, this one is fine, but a bit in the skinny side…. And simply too much of a width difference between it and the wired mouse connected to my desktop, so bouncing back and forth between the two felt very unnatural. The new (2nd) wired mouse I got is close enough to the widely of my main desktop mouse that it isn’t noticeable enough. This mouse (Redragon Gainer 6xx) I am also keeping as a Travel Mouse as it is seriously light. ... show more

  • Excellent budget option
for 18 bucks, it's hard to fault this mouse for much. Some highlights I want to point out are the seperate dpi buttons, which is a HUGE quality of life improvement, allowing you to go up and down in dpi, rather than having to cycle through them to get back to the one you want. The ergonomics are pretty good, and the tracking is fine. The software leaves something to be desired, however for the price it's not that big of a deal. My one complaint is that it double clicks frequently, although some software tuning may solve this problem. ... show more
