Easy install if you take your time. The first build is the drawer portion of the bed where you build sub assemblies and then the structure. I recommend having a couple blocks about 6 to 8 inches high to prop the assembly on since two of the pieces are offset. Will allow you to build quality vs damage the product trying to balance each end. Instructions say no power tools. If you have a screw gun with torque settings, do it. Saves time and doesn't damage the product. It's better for quality vs hand tightening with screw driver. When assembling the head board, use two people. Wife loves the antique brush white finish.

Unfortunately this is going to be a brutally honest review. This product looks amazing when it is assembled. Getting it assembled is the problem. I am a young man and it took us 2 DAYS to put this bed together. Most of the hex-based screws are so cheap that they strip as soon as you tighten them - so unfortunate this bed is never moving again without being cut into pieces. There are hundreds and hundreds of parts for this bed. If you get assembly - make sure it is one set price and not hourly - because it will cost more to assemble than what you paid for the bed! Again it looks great but the assembly is absolutely HORRIBLE. Some of the things you need to screw with the wrench are in places that you can’t even reach - just a terrible design altogether! Also the bed is VERY heavy so make sure you assemble it in the location that you plan on keeping it in.

The directions are good and took me a day and a half. Goes together pretty good with no issues although there was not enough glue for the dowels. Recommend buying some before assembling. Don't overtighten the quarter turn fasteners because it dislodges the fake wood and does not keep a secure bond. The whole thing is a cheap material with no solid wood and a covering that looks like the wood. All in All a decent product for the money.

Well not exactly sure how to rate this. I think I'm being generous with a 3 but it is sleepable. The headboard comes in three pieces and the line/joint that is above the pillows is very noticeable. Pretty destracting and your eyes go right to it. Gives it that cheap look. I really like the design of the headboard except for the line. It is amazing all the pieces that have to be assembled to make the bed. Definitely not like those solid beds of the past we use to jump around on when kids. Of course its not real wood. Extremely thin. For $400 i think it should have been built a little thicker. Color is nice but its a microthin coating of some sort. like a decal. Probably would not recomend it for anything that is used everyday. we are using it for a guest bedroom so hoping it will last the 2-3 times its used for the year. used mainly for looks. (staging) definitely will not hold up to a kids room.
