the title of this review says it all. my hair had been super damaged from using hair straighteners that were awful on my hair even on the lowest heat setting. my hair was breaking off at the ends/falling out in clumps (almost handfuls) due to having a hysterectomy and the crazy hormonal changes I was going through. after some research, a lot of reviews i read on different sites recommended this line. these have 100% changed my hair. i only wash my hair once, maybe twice a week depending on how sweaty i get and if my dry shampoo isn’t absorbing the oil anymore. I have to double cleanse my hair with tea tree shampoo due to psoriasis in my scalp and then I go in with this shampoo. my hair is a little past my chin and I use a nickel size amount and it foams right up and gets my hair really clean. the conditioner is very concentrated but it’s not thick like a deep conditioning hair mask. I use the tiniest amount like a pea size and I gently brush it through my ends and on the thickest part of my hair towards the top where I part my hair (I do a deep side part). I only leave it in for 2-3 minutes because my hair is short. when I get out of the shower, I take another pea size amount of the leave in treatment and do the same thing as the conditioner step. when I blow dry my hair, it is really soft but it doesn’t feel weighed down. it doesn’t irritate my psoriasis and it doesn’t make my hair greasy. before this stuff, it did not matter how much conditioner or hair masks I used - my hair would still look fried and would still break off (I blow dry my hair on medium heat and do a cold blow dry after). I can now curl my hair and will have nice beachy hair waves that are frizz free. if you have hair like mine was, you need this stuff. I know it’s pricy but these bottles will last you forever. i’ve had these for a little over 3 months now and I still have at least 3/4 of the bottles left and the leave in treatment is still practically full.

I am so in love with this set. It makes my hair so soft and shiny. I have been purchasing this for the last several months, and the difference in my hair is incredible. It is a little bit expensive but worth it for good hair.

I found a Gem, my hair felt gummy, brittle, lifeless like a dolls hair. I was on the verge of going bald. My hairdresser over bleached it trying to go blonde then she added a relaxer, to straighten. That's the last time she will ever touch my hair. But thanks to this product just with the first treatment my hair feels 80% better and is softer to the touch it really does do what it says it does I bought the 4 step treatment Look for the other review on the other treatment that didn't come with this bundle. I wanted this product to work, so desperately. The shampoo made my hair feel like straw in the shower and it would end up so dry, crunchy, and tangled that I contemplated shaving my head again. The conditioner was standard, no different that other conditioners I think. It doesn’t make sense to have shampoo strip the hell out of chemically treated hair only to reintroduce pretty lackluster moisture with an expensive conditioner. But the leave in conditioner? Oh my god. I wanna bathe in it. My hair was silky. It was shiny, clean, and vibrant. It smelled DIVINE and I still use it with my cheap Garnier Clean Pure set. My hair has never been healthier or prettier and my natural waves have returned with this combo. Sometimes the expensive “salon” stuff isn’t as great as they hope. I wouldn’t waste your money on the shampoo and conditioner because that’s an insane amount of money to drop when Olaplex is at least $20 cheaper in total, but definitely consider the leave in conditioner to get the silkiest hair of your life. Altogether I dropped $90 on this set and I’m pretty cheesed that it wasn’t the holy grail of hair care.

After a few months of straightening my hair, it started coming out in gobs with severe breakage. Being a clueless newbie, I didn't realize how damaging it could be without a heat protectant until it was almost too late. Needless to say, I started to panic. I knew I needed something salon-grade if I was going to save my hair and thought of Redken. This three-step treatment for severely damaged hair was a miracle for me. After just 2 applications, my hair loss slowed. After 4, my hair was smoother and almost back to normal. How I applied it: A little goes a long way compared to cheaper brands, though I still needed 2 or 3 times the recommended pea-sized amount in both the shampoo and conditioner since I have long hair. Using a wet brush and adding a little warm water also helped to work the conditioner through and detangle. I left it in 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing. Highly recommend if you're in need of hair repair.
