  • Redragon vs Logitech is it worth it?? Redragon vs Logitech is it worth it??
Style: M690-1
This Review has been Updated! Redragon's customer service is great and responded to my issue immediately and quickly resolved the problem. So I play a lot of competitive FPS games like Apex and Overwatch, and always looking for great gaming mouses out on the market to test out and recommend to my friends looking for a gaming mouse. So here I'm comparing the Redragon's I have now with the popular Logitech Mouses I've always used and how well does it actually performs. So I have the new Logitech G502 Lightspeed Wireless and the older G Pro Hero Wired to compare it with. I'm comparing these Mouses together because they are very similar in shape and sizes, with some minor difference with the buttons, build material, and weights and most importantly is it worth it. Redragon's Build Quality and Sensor Build Quality is very nice and feels premium to the touch, but slightly a little heavier but not a deal breaker. It is well balanced and does not interfere with my gaming. The mouse feet are also very nice and smooth and glides like butter. Sensor Wired - Performs well and is perfectly fine with competitive gaming. Wireless - Good for daily tasks like web browsing and photo & video editing, but would not recommend for fast pace games. It has an issue with slow response time with fast flick shots. Please take this into consideration before making your purchase. I would recommend to go with their Wired versions to avoid any latency issues. ....... So bottom line is if you're in a budget and need of a gaming mouse. I highly recommend Redragon's Wired Gaming Mouses, they perform well enough for competitive gaming and is also very budget friendly vs the main brands out there. My recommendation is to check out their Redragon M719 Invader Gaming Mouse if you're into competitive gaming. I hope this review helps out many of you looking for a solid gaming mouse. I'm currently very happy with the M719 and look forward to trying out more of Redragon's products. ... show more

  • 10/10 Would Recommend!!! A Gaming Mouse For The People.
Style: M690-1
This mouse is absolutely amazing. It fits comfortably in my hand, with a textured feel that grants a very pleasurable gaming experience. It has a number of buttons and dpi options available for those needing more than your typical left and right click. Its laser is very accurate, as iI can use the mouse on a variety of surfaces, even on the super cool "eco" setting, which is basically a power saving mode. This feature is great for power users, and definitely keeps you from wasting batteries. This mouse is 100% complete plug and play with my win10 machine; all i had to do was pop in the small nano usb dongle and get to clickin'. It came in a cheeky, Red Dragon semi transparent, grey plastic case, which you can repack your mouse in when you're traveling. My favorite part of this product is the LED's that glow on the scroll wheel, chassis, and the piece de resistance, the memorable Red Dragon logo, which glows red and just looks freaking awesome. I have played Starcraft 2 with one of those expensive Razer mouses, and honestly, both this company and the mouse blows it / them out of the water, with the sheer brilliance of their customer support and device performance, customization, and affordability. My sister has a Razer laptop that crapped out on her, and customer support didn't even get back to her after a few emails, but send one email to Red Dragon, and they will resolve your issue in no time. All in all, this mouse performs again and again in style. Plus it won't break your bank. It is truly a gaming mouse made for the people. I am super satisfied with my investment and will be back for all my mouse needs ^-^ 10/10 would recommend. UPDATE 10/16/2019 After over a year of using my mouse extensively on a daily basis, at home and at school, it stopped accepting batteries :( I reached out to the LTC / RED Dragon support team and was given the most amazing service and support from a Mrs. E. She helped me troubleshoot the issue with my mouse with ease, and was highly communicative throughout the whole process, and helped me resolve my issue quickly. Since my original review I have purchased another one of these for my wife, and she could not be happier with her mouse. Even with my mouse breaking on me over a year later, this has been the best mouse investment either of us has ever made, and I'm looking forward to the replacement I have on the way. • Right mouse button sticking Right mouse button sticking
Style: M690-1
INITAL POST AFTER RECIEVING: Well made, so far its held up to me clicking the middle wheel many times. The only thing I dislike is the DPi Settings don't go low enough for BF3 I'm constantly over shooting my target 800dpi is the lowest, maybe 500 would be the right amount for this game. A little too narrow for my big hands, I added two 1/4 in pieces of foam weather stripping to the left side to get it to where I find comfortable. Otherwise its a good mouse for the money. FIRST UPDATE: Update after a couple of weeks using it to play game, right button is sticking. I'll have to spend more an order better brand. SECOND NEW UPDATE: RED DRAGON sent a customer review asking how I Liked the mouse. I let them know the issues and this was their response. GREAT CUSTOMER RESPONSE OR WHAT! Dear David, Thanks a lot for letting me know your concerns, this is Eline. I am sorry for the problem that the right button of your mouse sticks and DPI Settings don't go low enough for BF3. We have a wired mouse M711, which has 5adjustable DPI (500/1000/2000/3000/5000) can be shifted easily by pressing the DPI switch on the mouse.https://www.amazon.com/dp/product/B0751D11BL If you would like to try it, I will arrange the shipment for you. You can dispose your original mouse M690-1 and do not need to return it. Apologize for the inconvenience. Look forward to hearing from you. Replacement Mouse is not wireless, but that's not a big issue, I used a RAT for years. Hopefully this mouse holds up as well as it did. (5 years) ... show more

  • Good mouse for the price, can unexpectedly break
Style: M690-1
PROS: For the price, this mouse is pretty good. It comes with lots of side buttons and the flick accuracy is much better than other mice at this price point. CONS: The sensor is a cheap one to keep the price down. The lighting isn't very bright and I usually keep it off. The power switch to turn on the mouse can get loose. My mouse broke because the power switch got loose and couldn't keep a closed circuit going without pushing really hard on it and hoping it sticks. ... show more

  • Great value + quality
Style: M690-1
Needed a wireless mouse and did not want to spend $50-100 This was a great alternative to an expensive mouse! Pros: - Does everything it sets out to do! - very affordable - great ergonomics - comes with an attractive carrying case - dongle fits into mouse - great battery life CONS: - mouse could have a more grip, has sleek/slippery areas where it would be better to have a more grippy texture - Not likely great for competitive gaming, does not do well when pulling the mouse off the pad Mouse also is a little on the light side - not really an issue for everyone - but gives the impression of a cheap mouse ... show more

  • Excellent wireless gaming mouse...
Style: M690-1
My boys and I have been using the Redragon mouse products for years now with our Asus ROG gaming laptops. This is the first time we've tried this wireless one, and it's really good. I wish they offered a wireless Mammoth model, because that's the corded one that I use and I really like that XL size, but this is still a pretty big mouse that feels good in the hand for long periods of time. It reacts well, no lag, no problems so far. The battery life is a little quick, but I'm mainly talking about my son's experiences. Mine seems to last much longer, but I don't really know how much he uses it, whether or not he just leaves on, etc. I mean, it should time out with the laptop closed, but you never know what's going on. It was just a lot shorter battery life than I'm used to with other wireless mice I've owned. Overall great wireless mouse, looks cool, works great, rather configurable, etc. I don't see a reason to buy something more expensive. ... show more

  • It's no Master of Destiny
Style: M690-1
Back in 2015, I bought a Bestton E-3LUE Master of Destiny Mouse for under $30 here on Amazon. This delightful blue mouse came in a nice box, was made of pleasant to touch materials, and happily performed it's duty for 5 years. Sadly, it's time in the spot light came to an end when the left button stopping functioning properly. Twice as Sadly, this mouse is no longer for sale. Enter the Redargon M690-1, a similarly shaped red devil, which while a bit more pricey than the Master of Destiny, would hopefully take over from where the E-3lue left off. First impression, the box it came in was cheap. Where the Master of Destiny came in a box with molded panels to safely contain the precious package, the Dargon only had a thin, clear formed plastic insert. This theme of thin plastic continued into the mouse itself. It's light, and not in a good way. Holding the mouse doesn't give me the feeling it's prepared for the work I have in store for it. Like if I hold it the wrong way, it will just break. I've only used it for maybe 5 hours total, and the pads the mouse slides on are already scuffed and damaged. The clicking action is okay, but again, not confidence inspiring. It feels light, and it feels cheap. Whereas my delightful E-3lue lasted 5 years without any complaint, I doubt I'll get a full year of satisfaction from the M690-1. If only the Master of Destiny were still for sale. TL:DR- It's a completely okay mouse, I guess, but when you're standard is the Master of Destiny, any old Dargon just doesn't cut it. ... show more
