  • Download the software for full feature set!
Style: M656
Right off the bat, I wanted to tell you to download the software for this mouse to get its full feature set. If you don't install the software, the mouse will operate with a polling rate of just 125Hz. With the software installed, you can move this up to 500Hz and have a huge benefit to your aim as things will feel much smoother. You can think of this the same way you think of monitor refresh rates, like 60Hz vs 144Hz monitors. --- This mouse hits all the high notes for me: wireless functionality, comfortable grip, LED gamer aesthetic lighting--even if it's just basic red, decent DPI, optical sensor instead of laser, easy to swap AA battery instead of frequent charging, and best of all, a price of a measly $20 bill. Overall the mouse feels like decent quality in your hand, so build quality is solid at this price point. I'll add that I did have to pull small pieces of cellophane plastic off of the rubber feet on the mouse. The manual didn't mention these, but it was obvious that the mouse would slide better by pulling the plastic off and letting the actual rubber touch my mouse pad instead. Maybe this was a factory or manual oversight. I decided on this mouse whenever my Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum started having issues staying connected wirelessly and with the left click not always working. I already had experience with Redragon products, as I use their K551 RGB keyboard with blue switches. I used to play competitive games like Counter-Strike at a near professional level about 12 years ago, but since I'm "retired" from taking games seriously, I can't really justify spending $80-120 on a new mouse these days. Overall I'm super satisfied with this Redragon M656 "Gainer" wireless mouse. It took me very little time to adapt to my new mouse in FPS games like Halo and Valorant. Let's just say for $20, it really fit the bill. Don't forget to download that software to get the full polling rate benefits! Your aim will thank you for it. ... show more

  • Stopped working in less than a year - Updated to 5 stars from 1
Style: M690-1
UPDATE - Good support; item replaced quickly, Stars from 1 to 5! (I think the USB dongle just failed.) Original (after failure): Let's see how Support from Redragon is. My Sep 21 purchased red and black M690-1 Redragon mouse just died today. Sent in support request. Loved the mouse - design is nice and matches my desk. We will see how good support is. (PC woke up this morning but mouse did not. Tried other batteries, tried it in my laptop, and finally installed a back-up mouse that worked. (No 'ding-ding' when plugging in or removing the nano receiver of the Redragon mouse.) Hope I get a new one. Will update as i get reply. Other than this (less-than-one-year) operating life, I'd give this mouse 5-stars. ... show more

  • Great mouse, super comfortable
Style: M656
After my old mouse broke I decided to go ahead and grab one that wasn't completely cheap, and this one struck the deal. Dpi setting offer a wide range for anyones taste and though the mouse is a bit light for my favor its incredibly comfortable in the hand.

  • Great value + quality
Style: M690-1
Needed a wireless mouse and did not want to spend $50-100 This was a great alternative to an expensive mouse! Pros: - Does everything it sets out to do! - very affordable - great ergonomics - comes with an attractive carrying case - dongle fits into mouse - great battery life CONS: - mouse could have a more grip, has sleek/slippery areas where it would be better to have a more grippy texture - Not likely great for competitive gaming, does not do well when pulling the mouse off the pad Mouse also is a little on the light side - not really an issue for everyone - but gives the impression of a cheap mouse ... show more

  • Feels nice in my hand but the sensitivity is terrible
Style: M690-1
I have a corded Reddragon that use on my desktop and it's awesome, 10/10. So I thought I would try out the cordless version to use with my laptop. It feels really nice in the hand but the sensitivity/reaction time is terrible. It's really hard to click on small things and make minor adjustments. I use it for gaming but since it's with my laptop I also use it for accounting. When I'm working with excel sheets and trying to select cells or drag them, it's so difficult. Anything that involves trying to work with something small/requires precise movement....it's super infuriating. I have the settings turned up to max. I'm switching back over to my basic, cordless Logitech for the time being because it actually works better. ... show more

  • Good for the price
Style: M690-1
It's a mouse. Likely my least favorite mouse ever that I didn't straight up trash. The problem is once you click is it is unpredictably useful for the next 45 seconds (I didn't measure but you get my point) from eco mode turn off, you click and and jiggle and jiggle and jiggle. You are watching for the mouse to move/match the input. Then it works then it slows down for a few seconds then it works right. Doing this 10ish times a day makes me want to smash this thing with a hammer. But it was so cheap, I deal with it. Everything else is great, battery life, performance after the wake up garbage, I like the feel. All in all, I feel like there is a bad capacitor in mine or if this isn't just me there is something in the voltage regulation system that seems to need a few moment to juice up. ... show more
