I work in the oilfield and my boots get a lot of abuse. I started putting this on my boots before I ever wear them to work and it's made a clear difference. Due to the environment I work in, a pair of leather boots may last a couple months before they start to shrink or develop holes in them. But once I put this on my boots, they started lasting longer. I'm still using the first pair I put this on and I'll be putting it on every pair of boots I buy. I don't know if this is the legit diehard product for ride or die redwing fans, I don't care either.
