FIRST- super easy to set up. Just watch the video below the product description and follow along with it- and in three minutes it’s set up. There’s also a video right after the set up on how to put in a bag and then videos on how to change the bag. It does not get any easier than that cat people. SECOND- seems to eliminate the smell. They send an extra charcoal filter for the lid, but you can purchase more on Amazon. I could not be happier with this product. It is of high quality and is worth every penny. The bags are of great quality as well. My wife was skeptical at first but now she's talking about getting a second one for the other litter box that we have downstairs. No odors and no gross stink when I'm about to open up a plastic grocery bag a few times a day to dispose of anything. Just open the lid, put in the cat pee or poo from the litter box, close the lid, and step on the pedal and you're done. Great concept and great quality. If you're looking for cat litter disposal system. This is the way to go. Their website has great videos and information on how to put it together and use it. I highly recommend checking it out. It's very helpful. It took me about 10 minutes or less to put it together. It's pretty simple to do so. The scooper that come with it isn't the best for me. I have a hard time seeing what I am scooping with the mouse top to it. I ended up popping off the closing mouse part and just use the scooper. Some might like it, but I don't. This is basically a Diaper Genie for your kitty poo. Cute design and attention to detail with the little cat ears on the lid, there is a holder for the litter scooper, and you don't have to look for a spot, or set it on the floor/lid. Putting the bag on is a little confusing, I actually damaged one of the bags, but was able to scan the QR code, to make sure I was doing it correct the second time around. The scooper is actually made to fit inside the top hole perfectly, so you reduce the risk of making a mess. Overall, a GREAT way to reduce the smell of used kitty litter. I keep mines on my back porch, and even on a hot day, you can barely smell it! If you're confused about assembly, scan the QR code included! Huge time saver! ... show more

It’s way too expensive for a container for cat poop I don’t like that you have to buy the brand’s own refills, which are also expensive. The twisting mechanism was only okay for preventing smell, and it also broke pretty easily. I’ve used the Litter Genie too, and I think that one works better. I’d choose the Litter Genie next time. I have been using mine for a couple months now and I am happy with it. There is info in the packaging along with a link to a video on putting the bin together and how to put the bags in if someone is confused the first time. It is easy to use. I am happy with this purchase and glad I got this instead of just a normal big that opens and closes. I also spready with with disinfectant when doing a cleaning. Things to be aware of: - This is a mechanical device the relies on you operating the untwist motion with your foot. There is nothing to ensure or force the opening open completely. I have had no issues really with getting litter into the bag. If you let it fill up too much that would be a problem. - The bags do their job but are not magic. When you untwist happens and the litter inside gets air then you can smell any litter inside and as you put it in there. The twist will help contain the smells when the bag twists itself back well though. - If you don't want to carry a heavy bag of used litter then you will just have to change the bags out more frequently. The bag can get heavier if filled all the way (and hold just fine). - Getting more bags may seem a little confusing but just check the model. It would be nice if the manufacturers had more simple and clear model/bag IDs ("Bag A") but its not hard to find the correct bags. ... show more

This is honestly one of the best inventions out there! If you’ve ever used a diaper pail, this works just the same. It’s perfect for small spaces and keeps your home from smelling like a litter box! The bag inside twists closed on its own so I no longer even need to worry about the baby having access to it! It’s very sturdy plastic material that I don’t see breaking easily at all. We haven’t had a single smell come from it at all, it’s so easy to empty and clean, then just add a new bag and you are good to go! This litter pail is a total life saver. Easy to use, keeps my home smelling fresh, and it looks nice too. The step to open design is very practical, especially when I’m cleaning multiple boxes (I have two cats) I didn’t think it would make such a difference, but it really does. Highly recommend.
