The media could not be loaded. This kit comes with a lot of different colors of yarn. I have had this brand before and it is very great quality. And it is a great price, but it is not generally soft. This yarn is good for beginners because it is easy to work with. It can be used for many different projects. If you like thick yarn this yarn is fairly thin so it might not be for you but over all I would definitely recommend!!! ... show more

I've heart a lot of good things about Red Heart yarn, using it was another experience. The first batch I bought was fine, the skein are small but that's to be expected in kits. The yarn would split while crocheting but it wasn't too yard to work with as far as that went. Second order had a strange factory smell to it but the same quality and colors as the first. I've made many projects with this yarn, second batch was also a little rougher in my fingers not as soft as the first. Great yarn for the price and the colors are so pretty. Comes in a bag which makes storing them easier, and I loved that the center pull was easy to find in these yarns. Already started for you. True to weight, it is worsted weight yarn which is great some of these kits say they are but they're smaller. Color and thickness consistent throughout the entire skein, there were some factory knots in both sets but weren't too annoying I just cut them out. One knot in maybe 2>3 skeins wasn't too much. I love the colors they’re really pretty. The balls are a bit smaller than I expected but still a decent size. I was able to make 4 1/2 scrunchies from 1 ball and my scrunchies and fluffy. The yarns itself isn’t too small so you can use for other projects, I love the colors but I only get 1 roll per color so larger projects are a no no unless it’s multi colored or you’re buying 2. ... show more

The balls are small, but I expected that -- I was looking for a bit of many colors to diversify my crochet projects on a budget. The colors are bright & the skeins are beautifuly rolled, with an easy center pull, but honestly I got better quality, softer yarn at the dollar store (also acrylic, "just yarn" brand...I just wish they carried more colors!). The plys of this yarn come apart quite easily, so that a few times within every ~50 stitches I accidentally hook THROUGH, not AROUND, and have to proceed carefully until I'm at a point where it's wound tighter. It's also fairly scratchy & I'm finding myself combining it with other brands for wearables just so it's not ALL scratchy/itchy. I've only been crocheting about 6mos & have consistently heard about Red Heart Super Saver being a great option, but that hasn't been my experience. ... show more
