    • A gorgeous world, but it feels like a second job

I just started playing this game. It’s gorgeous, just so beautiful. But oh my God, is it boring. I feel like playing this game is a chore that I started and now I can’t stop because I’m already into it and it would feel wasteful to quit. The storyline is not too bad, and again, the game is just gorgeous. And why do these people walk so slowly? It feels like their legs are tied to a ball and chain. But I think it was a mistake to make the gameplay hyper realistic. The point of playing video games is to escape reality, not turn it into an extra chore. I’m only like 7% in, and I’m already exhausted I feel like Rockstar decided to combine GTA with The Sims and a Tamagotchi. Because you have to monitor your horse's energy and your character's energy, you might forget to monitor your own energy while playing. 4/5 stars so far, will update when I finish it if I still have enough energy to finish it ... show more
