  • Good set in the S/V era...but be mindful
Color: Multi
To the UK reviewer with the "2 stars". From what they said, they don't seem to be aware, and to be fair most people shouldn't know commonly, but this set in the S/V TCG era is in-fact the worse for pull rates. Now, is that worse than the SW/SH era? Easily a no, even statistically a big no even if you omit Evolving Skies. The fact that they pulled a Special Illustration Rare (SIR) even is in fact something they should be happy about because the average pull rate for that is 1/86 packs...so they clearly were lucky. So, I'm not trying to defend the product, but not sure what their gripe is. This set is the worst for pull rates in S/V...but it's not even nearly as close as Sword/Shield era, and this set is harder to get pulls like Hyper Rare (Gold Cards) and Full Arts, SIRs because of the return of Ace Spec cards, which is great as a re-entry to the game. So, naturally, if you have more higher tier cards included in a set, naturally it's going to be tougher to get the hardest pulls...which again, the UK pulled out of only 36 packs. TLDR: It's random/RNG just like any other TCG...if they wanted more "regular ex" cards, they could have easily bought singles for waaaaay less than buying a booster box. Don't be unreasonable and duck a product on rating just because things didn't swing your way for a hobby that's conducive to essentially gambling/luck. ... show more

  • Legitimate
Color: Multi
My booster box came completely sealed and basically in perfect condition. I didn’t get to many crazy hits but I DID get a Morty’s Conviction, Prime Catcher, Gouging Fire EX (HR) and Iron Crown EX (UR). Imo it was worth it, and when you take into consideration card value I definitely made my money back as far as worth and value of cards. ... show more
