This is white after it dries. For me it irritated my skin causing a break out and my edges coming out in patches. The jar is smaller than i liked. It does hold the hair but it did more damage than it did holding my edges down. If you have sensitive skin do not use this product

This gel goes on clear and stays clear! Doesn't turn white and cake up like other brands do. I only have to use a small amount and it holds my coarse, thick hair in place for days! Love this product!! And it is infused with biotin which is making my edges grow!
