Replaced my awning fabric. This was a slight downgrade but way less expensive that the fabric that would accept the metal cover. So removed the old fabric including the metal roll cover that was useless, it did not even totally block weather or sun. This cover was a fraction of the price and works very well, looks good, was easier to change than I thought. Some “dry” silicone slide lubricant helps.
