Bottom line - would recommend. However, there may be better alternatives both in terms of price and capacity. I have been using rechargeable AA batteries in my Xbox controllers (series x and Xbox one). However, after many years of use, they were starting to no longer hold a 'good' charge. I had the opportunity to order these at no cost, so I thought I'd give them a try vs ordering new rechargeable AA or a different battery pack. I saw these and liked that they were compatible with all my remotes and includes battery covers for both styles...rather than needing to order two separate products. So far I have been using these for a few weeks and they have performed well. They seem solidly built and can either be charged via USB cable either once removed from the controller or while still in it (battery cover has cutouts). Now...the reason I gave it 4 stars..the pack itself is VERY tight fitting in the remote. Initially I didn't think it was going to fit. One evening while playing, the charge ran out and I didn't feel like playing tethered with a cable. When I inserted rechargeable AA batteries, I noticed that they were a little loose because the metal contacts squished down from hiw tight fitting this pack is. Hopefully this doesn't become an issue in the future when these stop holding a charge. Two other things to note. One is the capacity, which I knew when ordering. This pack has 3600 mWh capacity, which is actually slightly less (200 mWh) than two of my AA eneloops it is replacing...which hold 1900 mWh each. Not a huge deal, as it is only about a 6% difference in capacity, but just something to note. Second, there are two flat contacts on the bottom of the battery, and even a cutout on on cover. To me this seems like contacts for a charging cradle. However, the product description states they can only be charged via USB. These contacts are not even shown on any of the product photos. So... I'm not really sure why the batteries have these contacts and why the cover has the cutouts in the for them if they are not for charging. Overall, these seem like good battery packs and offer an alternative option to the products on the market.

Many many charges in on both(my wife and I both game), and they seem to be holding up well. Fits controller correctly and comes with multiple plates to fit different gens of controllers. Can’t be beat for the price. Wonder how many of these I could have bought with all the $$$ I’ve spent on AA batteries over the years…
