(Go to the bottom for an updated review) I bought this light to brighten up my shower in my bathroom. The light in my bathroom shaded the shower area. I installed the light on the ceiling in my shower. This light worked perfectly for about three weeks. After the second time I charged it the automatic function stopped working all the time. I have to mess with it to get it to work. So I'm not sure if the mode switch is not functioning properly or if the motion sensor is not working properly. So now I have to manually turn it on and off. I don't take really hot and steamy showers, so I don't believe the steam from the shower was a problem. I am an electrician and install lighting motion sensor systems on a daily basis. Product summary: Pros: Light when working is a great solution for dark spots or closets. Motion sensors work as advertised. Three light temperatures. Three Modes, On, Auto (Motion), and Off. Battery life is just okay in a moderate-traffic area. Lasts about a week. Cons: Battery life could be longer. Started having problems in a short amount of time. See above for a description of the problem. It's a great light, for what I was using it for while it lasted. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Update The first thing is the seller was awesome and reached out to me soon after I posted this review, and offered a full refund. Meanwhile, I had forgotten that this light has a remote switch. So after I charged the light again, I used the switch to turn it on and went through all the different modes with the switch. And Vola! The light is now working perfectly! As an electrician, I often fix electronics by doing what is known as a Power On Reset, and 90% of the time that fixes the problem. The electronics just needed to reset inside the light. To achieve this on this light all you need to do is power on and off the light with the remote. I recommend doing this after each time you charge the light. The light is now operating perfectly. Now I'm a very happy camper! ... show more

I moved and have an odd shaped closet, the ceiling slants. Placed light at the top of the wall. I also can’t close the door fully, it’s always left open 1-2 inches. This light works perfect! Lots of light for my bathroom but trying to figure out how to set it for motion and time are crazy. I am using the remote only now because it stays on until battery is gone with motion. I just have to remember to turn it off. Remembering is not my strong suit. Maybe after having to drag in the ladder to take it down to charge I will remember. ... show more

This works very well for me entering a dark garage down a few stairs. I open the door and it lights up so I am safe from falling. Rechargeable. Good product so far.

I really like it. It works for my dark living room. It provides adequate light. I really like the option to adjust the color or hue of the light. I also like that you can turn motion sensor on and off. I’d purchase it again. The only down side is that the battery doesn’t last long.

Bought this to place in shoe closet. The design of this light is great. It’s bright and helps to avoid having to electrical work. My only down side is that the remote wasn’t working even after switching battery and it’s needed to change the settings.

The media could not be loaded. Needs to be brighter definitely not at bright as how it seems in the pictures. I needed two of these to be able to light up my room. But they are good for the price and comes with 3 different settings warm, white, and a in between kind of color.
