Our kids love this bean bag, especially the 4 year olds. It's comfy enough for an adult to sit on, but too small for the adult to recline. We've had it for 2 years and the beads have just somewhat compressed after maybe 1 year of regular use (it was in the basement for 1 year, so didn't get much use). The outer bean bag is super durable. However, the inner bag is the flimsiest bag ever. It's silky and it's ripped apart at the seams resulting in a substantial hole 3 times. In addition to the actual holes, the seams are clearly pulling apart although they haven't resulted in a hole (yet). I've reinforced the main seam with upholstery thread but I'm not going to reinforce every single seam. There are alot. Would recommend passing on this one and finding a more durable version. ... show more

We've had two of these beanbags for about 5 years now and they've held up pretty well, providing comfortable versatile seating for cats, kids, and grownups during move nights, gaming sessions, and sleepovers. We are generally happy with this product overall. BUT: When we first purchased them, it was difficult to get the filler from the plastic shipping bag into the beanbags, because the "liner" inside the bag rips almost instantly - foam beads everywhere for weeks. lol The filler provided also condenses quickly. We did need to add more filler (from another brand since we couldn't find it from here without buying a whole new set) to each bag after only a year of use. That filler was obviously better quality, because it has been 4 years of use and we haven't had to add more. Another problem we have encountered is that since the beads DO NOT remain contained in the internal bag because it just isn't sturdy enough at the seams, you can't really remove the slipcover for washing without losing a TON of beads. And since these are a magnet cozy snuggle spot for cats, we really need to purchase new slipcovers to put over the current ones so we can remove them for regular washing without losing beads. The problem is... again... we can't purchase a slip cover without purchasing a whole new set. SO... in hopes that the company will respond and offer customers the option to purchase covers and/or filler separately, we're giving this a 1 star review. The product isn't as described - the slipcover can't be removed for "easy" washing because the inside liner isn't made well enough to contain the beads and the beads provided with the initial purchase aren't sufficient for long-term use. We would give this a 5 star review if the company just offered the option to purchase filler and new covers separately when they are needed. ... show more

It isnโ€™t overfilled like others that we considered (and others that I actually bought and returned). This one you can โ€œsit inโ€ verse โ€œonโ€ if that makes sense!
