Complete rip-off. On Amazon, item is advertised as hearing aides (not amplifier). Received product - all paperwork says item is an amplifier; there is not a single word that indicates that this item is a hearing aide. Should not be allowed to advertise or sell on Amazon. Extremely dissapointed!!!

It's simple. Hearing aids are supposed to be able to be tuned to enhance the frequencies that the wearer is weak in. These are NOT hearing aids! They're simply amplifiers! That means that if you're having difficulty hearing high frequencies, with all other frequencies being louder, you'll still hear that same high frequency loss, compared to all other frequencies. You'll just be able to hear that sound balance louder, or softer. Volume is all that's addressed! The only reason I didn't give one star, is that I think people take 2 star reviews more seriously! I RETURNED THESE!

They are amplifiers, and they work ok for what they are supposed to do. I will need to just bite the bullet and go get real hearing aids that are fit to my hearing loss.

I bought these hearing aids for my husband and I have to say, they have made my life so much easier as he can now hear me! I was skeptical about buying hearing aids from Amazon, but hubby refused to actually seek out an audiologist. Well, to my surprise, they work beautifully. It takes a little time to learn how to place them in the ear and time to get used to hearing all the things you haven't heard without them. I like that they come with a compact charging case & that they are rechargeable, so no need for batteries. The price was so affordable. I'm giving this product 4 stars only because it was supposed to come with 3 pairs of ear domes and it was missing one of the domes. The info presented on the purchase page was clear and easy to follow so he hard no trouble using the aids for the first time. I am very happy with this product because it works so well. I can now speak to him without having to shout. It has made a very positive impact on our quality of life.
