We love our new bed! My husband has complained for years about the feet of our old bed frame and how he would frequently stub his toes on against it while walking by. He didn’t know what to expect when the box arrived… He couldn’t believe there was a whole bed in such a small box! The metal internal frame seems quite solid and sturdy (significantly more so than the wooden slats we had before) and was easily assembled by the two of us in under an hour. The best part though is the outer cloud frame. It’s firm enough to look tidy and streamlined but soft enough that there are no more stubbed toes in the middle of the night! The soft ledge is also ideal for setting small accessories such as earbuds, tv remote phones while sleeping. The fabric is a nice quality and looks expensive at a budget price. Before you buy, please note that the bolts and screws were missing. To top it off, I went to home depot to improvise and get the bolts and screws mentioned. After successfully grabbing the bolts and screws. We come back to another problem where the parts did not have any ridges to screw it in (highlighted with orange. (Notice the difference?) This was a bad purchase and sadly was a frustrating process. I didn’t want to return it but after knowing that the frame needs the ridges for the bolts to go in. Now I have too…. The bed frame is okay. I sometimes have a hard time time keeping the foam at the side of the bed straight because the straps they provided to attach it to the bed frame doesn’t get very tight. Otherwise, super light weight, low profile design. The bed frame itself is sturdy enough, I’ve had the central piece that holds the lateral bars and hooks into the base of the metal frame disconnect a few times but that might have been due to me moving the bed around in an attempt to decorate. I had not noticed that it was made of a sponge, I was really looking for something firmer and this bed is more for a floor that has carpet. Regardless of that, the bed is beautiful, I feel that in a larger room it would be incredible. It looks very luxurious and when you lie on your back it feels very comfortable, I like that my children are not going to hurt their head if they throw themselves very hard back.
