PROS: - Very pretty doll - Curly hair - Long eye lashes on dolls eyes - Comes with several accessories - Has a birth Certificate and is pre-named - Has lifelike features - 19 inches in size CONS: - Dolls body and skin are not as soft as other baby dolls I have seen, not as lifelike as other reborn dolls - Doll’s “lifelike” fingernails are not great quality - My dolls curly hair was not only in a net, but her curls were tucked into her clothing and being pulled down, so when they are pulled free the curls are loose and pulled out slightly and hair looked slightly odd, unlike picture. - I think the packaging: tissue paper, netting, and vacuum seal, the doll arrives in does it a disservice and slightly ruins dolls outside appearance. This Reborn Baby Doll I am reviewing for you all today is named Shirley and it was a pleasure getting to know her. She arrived to me in her very own box and was wrapped up quite intensely to preserve quality. Shirley is 19 inches long and I felt was a good size for a doll; not too large or too small. She arrives with a blank birth certificate for you and your family to fill in. Her name can be changed to your child’s preference and I liked that they gave you the option to fill in the information. There are added details to make the doll more lifelike: Long eyelashes, realistic eyes, soft curly hair, and stylish clothes. An attempt to give her fingernails is included on this doll but I thought the quality wasn’t great. It looks more like pinched plastic, or a slightly melted white line shown across the dolls fingers. I also found the way the doll was wrapped up quite troublesome! The dolls arms and hands were wrapped tightly in tissue paper and tape; it was a bit tedious to remove. The hair net flattened the dolls curly hair, and her hair was stuffed in the back of her shirt and when the hair is pulled out it causes it to hang longer, and the curls looser and more freely then pictured. Included were several accessories: Baby Bottle, Magnetic Pacifier, a Diaper, a stuffed animal Giraffe, shoes, and a cute outfit the doll is wearing. I really liked the quality of the clothes this doll had on, even her stuffed animal Giraffe was super cute quality and could be a little toy all its own! Her shoes arrive packaged separately so you will need to put those on after arrival to complete her look. While the baby bottle is a cute additional item, I felt it was un-needed; but I am sure your little one will be happy to have it included. This doll reminded me more of a toddler then your usual baby doll. Shirley has beautiful long eyelashes that give her a more realistic appearance and I have never seen any of this quality on a doll before. Her hair is a beautiful shade of brown and is high quality in appearance and soft to the touch. Something worth mentioning is most kids like to brush their dolls hair. And while you could with this doll it is not meant for it. Her added curls and hair style are meant to be as is and displayed. I think that is why no brush or comb was included that you so often see with other dolls. I also wish the feeling of the dolls skin had been a bit softer, and since it is the reborn brand I expected it and was slightly let down, it was just okay feeling for me, not bad, I just think my expectations were set high. It is for sure softer then most dolls on the market it is made of a soft silicone/vinyl and was way better quality then a lower quality plastic doll would be. So I was very happy with it. For everything you get with this item I would say the price point is about right for a doll with this many accessories, details, and items included. If you are looking for that first time baby doll to give your infant I think there are other options that might be better, slightly more affordable, and closer to an infant in age. But for a Toddler this is an ideal doll they will relate to and enjoy. Shirley would make a great play companion for a child and would be a beautiful collector’s item for any who are fond or interested in the Reborn baby doll brand.

This is a high quality doll set that matches the photos, but came with a few extra accessories. She measures almost 19 inches and has the 3/4 hollow vinyl limbs. The cloth part that the limbs join to is jointed, so the doll is completely poseable, and her limbs/head move easily and without stiffness. Her body is a bit overstuffed in back, so it looks like she's wearing a diaper when she isn't. She looks fine with her clothes on and is in pretty good proportion. Her coloring is nicely done and her nails are very tidy. The hair is silky soft and shiny, and has dainty little curls at the bottom. The eyelashes are evenly glued on. Her outfit is well sewn and the zipper works smoothly. She came with shoes, but no socks. I already have preemie size socks, which fit the reborns very well. Along with the items shown, they included an elastic pearl bracelet and two stretchy macrame type bracelets, each with the same blue daisy charm. There's also a pink floral clip barrette for her hair or hat. The plush giraffe is cute and safe for little kids, except for the fluff at the end of the tail, but it can be trimmed off. I highly recommend this lovely girl doll for kids and collectors. She comes in a pink, heart covered box that is perfect for gift giving. This set would make a great gift for any doll lover.

The doll looks very real, like a baby. My daughter was happy when she opened it. She liked the hair, but we couldn't style it much because it gets a bit messy if you try too much. The clothes are nice, but small. Maybe it’s normal for dolls. The hands and legs move, which makes it fun to play with. Some points: The little giraffe toy is very soft, good for kids. The pacifier is magnetic, so it sticks to the mouth easy. We didn't use the birth certificate yet, but it’s a nice touch. The bottle is small but okay for pretend play. My child plays a lot with it now. It feels like having a real baby sometimes, which is fun for kids. Overall, it's a nice toy for gift but you need to care for the hair. Feels okay for the price.

I actually think the listing pictures don’t do this doll justice, maybe because they kind of misrepresent the hair, and I actually like the little curls at the end better. I don’t think this doll is particularly lifelike, but she’s adorable. She comes with the stuff that the listing claims she comes with (I think), but since I ordered this for me and as an adult I mostly just stare at my dolls instead of playing with them, the quality of these items was unimportant to me. The one thing I might criticize is the use of the word “poseable” in the listing. I’m not sure if the doll collecting community has a different definition of this word, but intuitively to me it seems like I should be able to pose a poseable doll and have it stay that way, and while this doll bends because she is soft, she snaps back when you set her down, so you can’t leave her in a sitting position or anything.

This is a beautiful 19 inch reborn baby doll. She is dressed in an adorable giraffe outfit and comes with a bottle, pacifier, diaper, giraffe stuffy, hair clips, shoes, bracelets, and birth certificate all of which are well crafted accessories. She is beautiful and realistic looking only not as realistic as some reborns that I have seen. I also am not a big fan of the cloth body especially with the one I received being overstuffed making it impossible to repose her legs for sitting. That being said, she’s a beautiful doll just not quite what I expected for a reborn doll.
