Generally speaking, I found this chair to exceed my expectations in many ways. I found it to be more attractive in person than in the photos; the materials seem of nice quality, and the quality of construction seems good. I especially liked that it arrived completely assembled (although it would have been helpful to print the full uncrating instructions on the outside of the box, instead of find them later in the manual - inside on the seat of the chair.) Or was I too enthusiastic and just tore into the box without looking?? So far, I have only used 3 of the 6 programs. Each feels unique and even if I increase it from 15 to 30 minutes, I don't notice repetition. The bluetooth speakers are great beside your head (nice to hear stereo without the feel of headsets on your ears. However, it is annoying that each time you use the chair, you have to re-connect your phone/music player via bluetooth, after you start the massage program - and it blares a really LOUD beep in your ears! Not good. I find the shoulder massage mechanisum to be entirelyi useless. I am a small person, narrow shoulders, and it presses in WAY too hard. Can't image someone larger with broad shoulders using this feature! So, I turn it off each time. I also found the foot massage rollers a bit too intense, so put foam pads there to insulate. The arm massage air bag areas are disappointing; you get a gentle squeeze of your hands, but not much pressure at all on your forearms. Most important to me was the full track back, hips, and buttocks massage, but alas, although it is incredibly GOOD, it is too intense for my small frame. It bruised my lower back/hip bones to where I need to leave it alone for a few days now. Today, I found a nice 1" thick, 18" wide x 72" high foam pad that I think will do the trick! One other thing: the flap intended to cover the zipper between the legs and the seat should have been applied on the opposite side of the zipper (the down side) because it stays folded up and looks unsightly. In summary, again, great value but wish there were options to adjust the shiatsu ball rollers for your back so they are more gentle (as you can do with other air bag adjustments, it seems.) ... show more

Overall I’m pretty happy with it. I’ll go into detail below. We paid $1681.60. UPDATE! Burnt plastic smell from left side that gets very hot. Called the customer care number several times and left message. No reply. Emailed them. No reply. Delivery: brought by freight truck and taken right to my garage. At which point it’s up to you to figure out. I was a little worried because the box a bit damaged but ended up being fine. It also arrives on a wooden pallet, so you will need bulk trash pick up. Unboxing: Pain in the ass. Watch out for big staple. Also the document that tells you how to unbox it is unfortunately in the middle of chair. So basically not helpful. Wheels are located on the back only so you have to tilt it a little to get it to roll, and it’s a bit tough. Definitely recommend two people or you will be kicking yourself. Door width should be at least 30 inches because the chair is 29.5 inches. Setting up: hardest thing is getting it into the location you want, which isn’t bad (again have someone help you). All you need is to attach the cable in the back. I recommend a surge protector to protect your investment! Also had to Velcro in two spots located on both sides of the hip. Easy. Material: feels great. Not rough. The “leather” finish goes around the complete chair. There is plastic at the base. Bluetooth: easy to connect. Sounds like speakers are located near the head. Nothing amazing. It doesn’t auto disconnect when you turn the chair off, so that’s annoying. Massage: Great. Many forms to pick from. You can change intensity. The heat wasn’t even noticeable, so I don’t know if it’s just not good at heating or if I missed something. Note that the button for heat is shared with the time button. You can do a maximum of 30 minutes, but if it drops you can technically extend the timer back to 30 mins. Overall air bags on arms, hips, and shoulders felt nice. Rollers on back and feet felt nice. Just wish the feet were a little harder, but my girl who has delicate feet says it was too hard. I also wish the air bags on the calves were a bit harder too. Note that she is 5’ and I am 5’7”, and we have zero issues with the height/length of the massage chair. Controller: wired button control with display (not touch screen). Wish cable were like 2 inches longer so that it would sit perfectly within its side pouch. ... show more
