This is a beautiful addition to our newly-renovated home. The entire assembly process took two of us about three hours. The pieces were well-marked and the instructions were fairly straightforward. We were going to stop for the day after assembling the cabinet and install the firebox the following morning until we realized we only needed to use four screws for the firebox. Shortly after we were enjoying the "flames." The mantle itself is well made, very sturdy, and finished with a rich dark brown color. The fire is beautiful, with adjustments available for size, lighting, speed, and color. Item was shipped in two large boxes & received in only a few days. Extremely easy to put together only tool needed was a Phillips screwdriver (but a cordless drill helps). I purchased the light color version which was more like a bone/vanilla color. The color didn’t really match my wife’s taste or any of the other furnishings in the living room so it was a simple task to paint it white. (I recommend to paint it before completing the assembly process as it makes it a whole lot easier- I should of made a YouTube video to show the process maybe next time if I’m sponsored. 😉). Once assembled the fireplace slid in with no issues. Remote/manual controls are easy to work. I have yet to test out the heater feature but the artificial flames look great. The price at first seemed a bit steep and I felt it was maybe overpriced by a few hundred bucks but after it was all displayed and saw smile on the wife I was okay with it. I don’t normally write reviews but I felt it was worthy since I’m pleasantly surprised on how good it turned out. Hope this helps. ... show more

The pre-drilled holes for most of the door nails are out of alignment. The material is also quite poor unfortunately. The fireplace component itself is nice and like the flame pattern and the colors just fine. After assembly, the fireplace looks good -- just wish the board and assembly quality was better. ... show more

Great company. It had some damage. They were out of stock, so they offered me a partial refund of if I wanted to keep it. Also they shipped me the parts needed to repair and some touch up paint. Super easy to work with. Firebox puts off lots of heat and is beautiful

The media could not be loaded. The fireplace insert on this is VERY NICE. If you can get it by itself do so, and then you can build your own surround if you like. Really like the options it has. Furniture piece is nice and clean looking-boneWhite. I really like the hidden storage on it. It does look like a real fireplace and not some chunky tv stand and that is what I was going for. Assembly was a bit cumbersome, mostly a single person job, but a 2nd person around to help in some things is nice to have. After we put it together I did notice a small cosmetic flaw with the paint on the mantle-not too obvious but its there and the sliding drawers up top/the molding has some glaring gaps that stood out. Overall its nice.. Will reVisit review for quality of use over time. ... show more

The heater itself is very nice. I love it beautiful color, but the furniture is very very very cheaply made. It’s not real a chips and brakes brakes very very easily once the units installed and you try to slide into place if you’re not careful it will come apart very disappointed in the fake wood and the flimsiness of it based on the way it was packed. I thought this was gonna be a real fine piece of furniture I was very very wrong. The holes for the pens strip out very easily, and the wood is hollow inside too much weight or one wrong move, and it will snap into. ... show more

Love it! Wish the instructions had written directions but the picture instructions alone were fine. Had no issues with assembly. Quality product. This is our second Real Flame electric fireplace. First one is in the bedroom and this one is for the living room.
