I put the fireplace in my bedroom. I always wished that I had put in a fireplace when I added the room. This looks right at home in my room. It makes it feel cozy and has added warmth to the room. I am not a young person and I assembled it myself - no problem. It was easier than Ikea furniture. The remote is very nice to have and let's you control every feature. The flames are not as realistic as my gas fireplace elsewhere in the house, but pretty good. ... show more

Love love the look of this fireplace . . . size was perfect for our living room and it has a nice solid look to it. I like the fire, however, if it was just the flame and no logs it would look even better. I would definitely recommend it - especially for the price.

I never write reviews but I always read them to help me decide if I'm making a good purchase. With that said the fireplace is great! It was easy to put together & really sets the mood! The flames & logs light up nicely for being fake. It is shorter than what I was hoping for but not a big deal. It does beep loudly like others have said but not a big deal either. I haven't used the heat option much but it does get warm. Not sure how much of my area it will heat but I didn't purchase it for that exact reason. I am very pleased with everything.
