I was skeptical based on some of the reviews...When I received it I immediately took it to my very expensive and supposedly ergonomic office chair and figured out what setting to put it on. Wow...what a difference! For those who do not remember or have never had the experience of sitting on a good quality hard backed chair from back in the day ... the kind that were hand made to support the back and sacral region...this device would seem odd and difficult to get used to. I recall the hard backed chairs and miss them! So good for the back support and alignment! The rocking part is nice because it adds another feature and I did like the rocking from time to time to activate the deep lymph of the ab area during the day. I DID notice that it was easier to get up from the chair right from the start of using this! At the end of the first day my muscles were sore from the 're-training' and actually activating all day vs being slumped. The second day ...awoke with no back stiffness!!! Its a bit pricey for hard plastic but it seems to be competitively priced.

I was much more pleased than I expected with this. The 2.0 version is very easy to collapse and move around, being fairly lightweight. With some adjustment, I'm able to use it in my office chair for extra movement during the day. I particularly enjoy it on the couch, providing more back support even without movement. I'm a fidgeter, but not necessarily a rocker, so intentionally doing that kind of motion has taken some thought, so hopefully it's helpful improve back muscles and overall energy levels. I did get one of the pads for it, and I was surprised how much more comfortable it made the rocker, though the base rocker is quite comfortable as-is. Just play around with where to position it--perhaps a couple of inches off of the base of what you're sitting on. Overall, I recommend this, but recommend getting it for some sort of special deal. 1 star is taken off for price, as I don't think the full MRSP is justified. It's a good product, but overpriced, though it's fairly easy to get a range of coupons for it.

Nice product and it does rock, supports your back and it's adjustable. But, it's so hard and uncomfortable and for an old person it's kinda heavy to be moving from place to place. Suggest if you do buy to get something to pad it. I had to return mine

I never realized how much I was hunching until trying this thing. Now I sit up tall and rest my back against the Ready Rocker instead of rounded over my desk, and I feel like it encourages me to roll my shoulders back too. It may be a stretch but I feel like my productivity has also gone up since using. I'm a fidgeter and rocking seems to keep me focused and reduce distraction somehow. It's been a few week since receiving it and I've already purchased two more to give as gifts. Highly recommend. It works on all furniture, my desk chair, bed, and even my deep set plush couch - i love it.
