I really wanted to get a cute microwave when we decided to replace my crappy old small white one. There are those retro style ones, but they got a lot of awful reviews. This one is very attractive, for a microwave, and it works great. It's a pretty big size, it fits on top of the 3/4 size fridge in my studio apartment just fine. It seems quite strong, I can heat up a bowl of Progresso kind of soup to piping hot in about 3 mins. My old crappy low wattage microwave took like 5-6 minutes. I got one of those plastic covers that you put on the food to keep it from splattering for the new microwave, and I'm sure that helps speed up the cooking time too, but it's definitely a decent wattage, big enough for a large dinner plate, and as far as I can tell everything works really well! I have always had a red kitchen. When I fried my microwave I was surprised to find this one. I really like not having to push a big button to open the door. You just pull the door open. Smaller than my last that I never utilized fully. Takes up less room and my stove has a convection setting so I didn't use the convection setting on the old microwave. I really liked this microwave for the nine or so months it worked. The color is perfect and it did a good job. However, suddenly, the microwave started causing issues (I bought the microwave in April 2015 and used it up until last week with no issue), either causing other appliances/lights/etc. to turn off, or just shutting itself down. There have been no changes in my house that would account for the issue, and the microwave caused this issue when I tested various outlets on different circuits throughout the house. Since I had no issues with my previous microwave or any other high-power-draw item in my house, and I just bought a cheap new microwave and it is causing no issues when used, unfortunately, I have to conclude that something is wrong with my lovely red microwave in less than a year. Edit: I have to revise my review as it turns out that PG&E's connection to my house was to blame, and this microwave just happened to draw down enough power to cause an issue. All the above , IT'S what I wanted. I had to put a non slip mesh underneath my microwave oven to keep it in place , when opening and closing it to keep from sliding, no problem. The size, usage, and appearance is a (5+) STARS. I also purchased the automatic red can opener and red toaster. I recommend this beautiful appliances. My kitchen is red and white, sorry no pics. I love the looks of this microwave including the color, but the company that makes this microwave has poor, poor quality control. I plugged it in and tried to heat food- it did not heat the food up. I put a glass of water in for 2 minutes- it did not heat the water! Again, poor quality control, NO QUALITY CONTROL!! I would be somewhat put off to purchase from this microwave company again. If I could lower my rating from 1 star, I would. Buyer beware. ... show more

After using a microwave with more settings, using this one was a step-down. But it works fine for the basic stuff. It is smaller but works for me. I got the color red which I like. I don't think I would buy it again. I am missing those extra settings.
