I bought this after my 7-year-old, broken-down netbook (which had been bought refurbished) finally crashed. It works very well for my purposes. It is fast and the screen is crystal clear, the touch screen works perfectly. The detachable keyboard is a little small (the first time I used it, I felt like a T-Rex) and the keys sometimes need to pressed a bit hard to get them to respond. It comes with Word Mobile which doesn't have all the features of regular Word, but it works for typing my documents, although it is a bit annoying to have my hand so close to the mousepad, causing it to right click accidentally quite a bit. It works well as a tablet and detaches from the keyboard easily. Overall, it's worth it for the money to use it as a small laptop. ... show more

I knew I got the wrong Cambio the second I pulled out a silver tablet with a kickstand. I ordered this product expecting to get the black W101 v2 but got a different RCA cambio of another product number. I am highly dissapointed and looking to get this item returned for the correct model. The model I have currently is more of a tablet with a loose fitting keyboard that needs to be propped up with a kickstand, which is flimsy and obviously not going to be able to prop up on my lap like the one described would be able to. Because I need this for classes and as a “travel laptop” which I can turn into a tablet, this option is obviously not what suits my needs where the one described does, and has positive reviews on the internet as a productivity laptop/tablet. I will have to suck it up until the seller responds and keep the screen protector on and box so that there is an easy exchange. However, the specs are the same (I compared the box I had with the description), the difference just being the design (maybe a newer version of the same thing?). So because I needed this for class I had to boot it up. I am pleased with the display, speed and size. The only reason why this product is 1 star is because it is the wrong design. If it had been the w101 v2 this would be a 5 star rating easy. I love the specs, just the design..... I am not able to use it for what I purchased it for which is really upsetting. Also, since I have tried to contact the seller, the sellers name has changed 3 times the two I have contacted has not matched up to the origional seller on my orders list even though I am clicking the same link so I don’t understand what is going on... I will update this post once I receive the correct tablet/laptop 2in1. And will most likely give it 5 stars if it is in fact the same specs with a different design. ... show more

    • Pretty good for the price!
I haven’t had this tablet very long, but it seems to be working fantastically. I first ordered an RCA Viking Pro, but Amazon shipped a different model than what I ordered so I had to send it back. Before sending that one back, however, I took the opportunity to test it out a little, and quickly discovered that I am NOT a huge fan of Android. I’m actually kinda glad they sent me the wrong one. In the meantime, I found this RCA Cambio Windows 10 Tablet and ordered it. A day or so after receiving my Cambio I decided to install a bit more storage space, but the tablet would not recognize the brand new 64 gigabyte micro SD card I put in it. I was a little disappointed about that, so I searched the internet for an explanation as to what might be causing this, and found a host of things that could be wrong. Nonetheless, a little later that morning, Windows performed a massive update that took nearly the entire afternoon to complete. Afterwards, the tablet recognized its new SD card right off the bat. It was well worth the wait for the update to complete!! I only have a couple complaints about this tablet so far. 1. The tablet isn’t black as stated in the description. It’s silver. Not that big a deal really, so I bought a black, leather-like case to hide the silver tablet. Works good enough for me. 2. The keyboard really sucks!! I liked the keyboard that came with the Viking Pro and kind of expected this one to be somewhat similar. However, this one is quite thin and slightly warped. It’s not anything like a traditional keyboard, but rather more like a rubberized keypad, which I am not very fond of at all, and will be replacing it ASAP if I can. 3. The mini USB port is practically useless, as it does not transfer data like I thought it would. It only charges the tablet, and incredibly slow at that. Of course, my USB charger might have something to do with that too. I probably should get a new one of those and reevaluate the tablet’s charging capabilities using that port. Just to be fair ya know. Well, like I said, I haven’t had the tablet very long, but it seems to be working great. As far as functionality I’m fairly pleased, except for the really sucky keyboard of course. Whoever designed that needs to be slapped upside the head!!     • File storage limitation.
The RCA Cambio provides all of the power you would ever need in a small computer. It is a full-featured computer with Windows 10. The only serious disadvantage of the the Cambio is the file storage memory limitation due to the backup copy of Windows 10 that is automatically saved in case you need to reload Windows 10. There is also the option of purging the backup copy. If you want to retain the backup copy, there is a simple and low-cost resolution for this is to add a micro SDHC card. I use mine for photography work. I upload pictures from my camera to view them during a photography session. This allows me to retake shots in the event there is a problem with the picture. ... show more
