I didn’t really expect much from this, but it ended up being a little better than I thought. It’s still not amazing, but it’s not bad either. And for the price, I think it's a good value overall. It heats up quickly and gets to a good temperature fast. The attachments can be a little tricky to get locked on at first, but once they’re in place, they stay put. The dryer and the brush that blows while you’re brushing both work really well. Those were probably the easiest and most effective parts of the whole set. We tried this on a few different hair types. My daughter-in-law and two granddaughters are biracial, and the two with thicker hair didn’t have as much success with it. It seemed to work better on my granddaughter with slightly less thick hair, so I think hair type definitely makes a difference. The automatic curling attachment was the hardest to use. It wasn’t very clear how to use it properly, and we would have benefited from a tutorial. That part definitely has a learning curve. Overall, it’s a decent multi-use styling tool, especially for lighter or less thick hair, but it may not work as well for thicker hair or for easy curling right out of the box. I went into this knowing it was a budget tool, so I wasn’t expecting salon-level results — but I still hoped it would surprise me. It didn’t, unfortunately. The first thing I noticed was how light it felt, and not in a premium way. The plastic feels thin, almost flimsy, and the attachments don’t exactly click on with confidence. There’s a bit of a loose, cheap feel to it. On the upside, it’s easy to pack and doesn’t weigh much at all, so I can see it being convenient for travel. Where it really lost me was the performance. The round brush attachment was the biggest letdown. The bristles tug more than they smooth, and at times it honestly felt like it was pulling through my hair instead of styling it. I had to slow down and be super careful, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of using a tool like this in the first place. If you have fine hair or deal with tangles, I’d be cautious. The airflow and heat are… fine. Not terrible, but not impressive either. It gets the job done, technically, but it doesn’t give that smooth, polished finish you’d expect from a better-quality air styler. The auto-wrap curlers were also hit or miss for me. Sometimes they’d grab the hair properly, other times not so much, which made the whole process feel more frustrating than fun. At the end of the day, it performs like what it is — a budget tool. The lightweight design is practical, especially for trips, but the overall build and the rough brush attachment make it hard for me to fully recommend. For occasional use it might be okay, but I wouldn’t rely on it as an everyday styling staple.

The media could not be loaded. This hair styling package offers a lot of versatility. There are two kinds of brushes and two different sizes of curling wraps plus a regular hair drying attachment totaling 5 attachments in all. It’s very lightweight and easy to handle. It would be great for travel because of its small size and light weight. Each attachment works very well. There are 4 different air pressure settings. There are no heat variations available. The only issue I have with this set is it’s difficult to change the attachments. Some slide into place easier than others. I also would have liked to have had a carrying case. The price of this set is very affordable.

The hot air stylerarrived packaged efficiently in a retail box. The styler's dryer attachment doesn't move enough air and heat to adequately dry an adult woman's long hair. It does what it should, but so low powered, that you're going to be drying for for-ev-er. The heated brush is a similar story, there aren't enough times to hold enough hair for you to get a solid curl. Trying the airwrap attachment is also more of the same, it doesn't move enough air do anything productive. Even after reading the instructions, nothing but lack luster performance from this device. Wouldn't bother with it.

I like this RCA 5 in 1 Hot Air Styler overall, but it’s not perfect for me. It doesn’t get as hot as I expected, and since my hair texture is kinky curly, it takes a little more time to fully dry and smooth. It does blow dry my hair, but just don’t expect super high heat. I also personally can’t do much with the auto wrap curlers yet. They might work better on other hair types or with more practice, but I haven’t mastered them. The parts I really love are the dryer and brush attachments. The volumizing and round brushes work well for stretching and smoothing my hair, and I like that everything is in one tool. Overall, it’s convenient and I do use it, especially for blow drying and adding body. I’m giving it four stars because the curlers aren’t my favorite and I wish it got a little hotter, but the other attachments make it worth having.

The looks and feels cheap but you do get a lot of attachments and a unit like this high end would cost so much more than this. It does the job for the price but there's a lot of things that can change to make this better. Like better material/ more sturdy. I feel like this would break the first time you drop it. That's how cheap it feels in the hand. Also don't get me started on how difficult it is to attach the attachments. The trick is to hold the button that releases the attachment when attaching said attachment piece.
