Got this for my kids for Christmas and it was a hit. It has very sensitive steering so it's best suited for older kids, 6and up probably. Only issue is the plastic piece on the handle next to the throttle, cuts at my daughter's hand because it is so sharp.

This scooter is big and heavy and built to last - but it should NOT be geared toward kids, at least not ones younger than 12. I bought this for my 8 year old - she fell off it the three times she tried it, then refused to try again. The problem is it TAKES off at a high speed, there is no gradual take-off - I had two other older kids with lots of electric scooter experience try it out and both fell off as well! This model may be fine for older kids, but please be careful if buying it for kids as young as 8 to 11. Razor needs to adjust the model to gain speed gradually, not take off like a rocket. ... show more

This scooter is powerful when she starts out I got it for my 9 year old she a little scared to ride it because it goes fast to start off there’s no in between speed. But it is a good scooter I’m keeping it I’m hoping she will just get used to it!

This product is very sturdy and I don't think it'll break easily. The only two complaints I have is that the throttle is either on or off, no in between, and that the switch to turn on the scooter isn't obvious, so you might accidentally leave it on. Other than that, it's fast and apparently a lot of fun! (I'm too heavy to ride this, but my kid loves it.) ... show more
