  • The Ultimate Ambidextrous Endgame! 45 Days of Heavy Gaming and Pure Perfection The Ultimate Ambidextrous Endgame! 45 Days of Heavy Gaming and Pure Perfection
Color: Black
I am coming back to write this review after putting this mouse through its paces for a solid 45 days. After upgrading my desktop with a premium 8K magnetic keyboard, I knew my mouse setup had to match that elite level of performance. That is why I pulled the trigger on the latest Razer Viper V4 Pro, and after a month and a half of intense daily use, it has completely redefined my gaming experience. If you are looking for the absolute pinnacle of symmetrical gaming mice, this is the endgame. First, let us talk about the design because there is a lot of confusion out there. This Viper V4 Pro is a flawless, perfectly symmetrical shape. It is a completely different beast compared to the older, bulky, asymmetrical right-handed design of the DeathAdder V4 Pro. As someone who prefers a claw/fingertip grip for high-precision micro-adjustments, this symmetrical shell melts into my hand perfectly, giving my thumb and fingers ultimate control. At a mind-blowing 49 grams, the weight distribution is pure wizardry. Combined with the native 8000Hz polling rate and the 50K DPI sensor, the tracking feels like an extension of my own nervous system. In high-APM gaming sessions and chaotic shooters like World War Z or CS2, swapping targets is instantaneous with zero initial drag. Furthermore, it is an absolute dream for massive open-world action games like Where Winds Meet. During high-stakes martial arts combat, dodging, executing flawless parries, and rapidly controlling the 3D camera feels incredibly smooth and responsive. There is absolutely no pixel-skipping or camera stutter, giving me perfect situational awareness. Out of the box and after 45 days of absolute abuse, the build quality feels incredibly solid despite being so incredibly light—no creaking, no flexing, and the Gen-4 optical switches offer a crisp, satisfyingly tactical click that hasn't degraded a bit. If I have to nitpick, running this monster at a full, unrestricted native 8K polling rate does drain the battery significantly faster than standard mice. It is a trade-off for infinite performance. However, the real sweet spot here is the 4K polling rate mode. With about 3 to 4 hours of gaming per day on the 4K setting, the mouse can easily coast for 8 to 10 days straight without even completely draining the battery to zero. This exceptional power efficiency completely eliminates any battery anxiety. Also, the premium price tag might make your wallet sweat, but for a top-tier esports weapon, you absolutely get what you pay for. To sum it all up, the Viper V4 Pro is the undisputed king of symmetrical lightweight mice. It delivers unrivaled performance, unparalleled speed, and an incredibly locked-in grip. It has officially earned a permanent spot as the perfect crown jewel for my high-end setup. Highly recommended! Money well spent! ... show more

  • Great Gaming Mouse for 2026
Color: Black
This is the best gaming mouse as someone who upgraded from a regular stock mouse. The weight, the functionality, and the design of the mouse is perfect. In fact, this mouse, and it features had further fine-tuned my already decent aim. After using this mouse for a while, I have observed my aim became a natural aim bot, where I was even accused of potentially exploiting in a match of BF1. The mouse itself is light, and as someone who came from a heavier mouse it felt a bit weird at first. However, if you can manage it, then it becomes a benefit. It allows you to flick quickly, and track targets consistently, which is where my claim of "natural aim bot" came from. It's not too light where you might find yourself tensing up too much to keep it in place, but if you came from a heavier mouse, then you might overflick your target a few times. The features the mouse offered through Razer's Synapse software such as the DPI and mappings are very useful. You can set different profiles for different games, so there are different DPI's for each game. In addition, you can change the mouse's buttons to be mapped to keys on your keyboard. For example, you can have the side button mapped to 'R', so you can reload through the side button. You can also have the same side buttons run a macro, so if you're playing Helldivers 2, you can instantly input a stratagem through your side button. There are also features like letting the side buttons launch a program. The mouse also features polling rates up to 8k, where higher rates increases the consistency of your cursor's tracking across the screen, and decreases latency. HOWEVER, higher rates can drain the battery life faster, and require specific hardware. Increased polling rates will put higher loads onto your CPU, so ensure you have a strong enough CPU. Otherwise, CPU intensive games will suffer FPS drops, or in general, some games might have issues or do not even support said polling rates. In addition, to notice the different in polling rates, a monitor with a higher refresh rate will be required. Regardless, using 2k and 4k, I haven't really noticed a difference as someone who has a 180hz monitor. It feels the same as 1k polling rate, but if you have the hardware to support it, use it! Regarding the battery life, it's very very good. I have used 2k and 4k polling rates for hours in a day, and the battery only goes down from 100% to like 96%. Whereas if you use 1k polling rate, then the battery doesn't even drain at all till the next day or two maybe (I charge it overnight once the day ends). Upgrading from a wired mouse, and as someone who was a firm believer that wired mice was better, this mouse changed that. I found the wireless mode of this mouse more consistent, than my wired mouse, and offered more freedom in wrist/arm movement. Therefore, I was able to track better. Also, the latency was small on it, perhaps even better. However, you can use the USB cable and plug it into the mouse if you'd like to use it wired. The design of the mouse is comfortable for those who use a claw grip. I typically have my palm touching the mouse, and my fingers in a claw like stance on it. I found no discomfort, and was able to consistently aim. As for other grips, I do not know. If you're upgrading from a stock mouse, then this is worth the upgrade. However, please read other reviews, if you're upgrading from like Razer's Viper V3 Pro mouse, then it might not be worth the money. Since the V3 shares many similarities to the V4 with a few new features. Overall, this might be one of the best mice on the market right now. This mouse ended up being the final piece in the puzzle for me towards perfect aim. Somehow, my peripherals were holding me back, where it is typically the opposite. ... show more

  • This is just one of my favorite mice now
Color: Black
TLDR: This is the mouse I keep coming back to. Long story short, I want nothing more when using this mouse. I'm one of those that just collects mice. I have my favorites, and I have some that I have just used once and put away. This is one that I keep bringing out. Simply put, the latest Viper and Deathadder are just some of my favorite mice period. They are built very solid, light weight, and flawless sensors. They have an instant wake up, fantastic battery life, satisfying clicks, great scroll wheel, and great side buttons. They are pricey, but quality-wise, it really doesn't get better than Razer now. And I'm comparing to Zowie, Logitech, G-wolves, Finalmouse, Pulsar, etc etc... Every one of those other brands has something I don't like in the quality alone, a creak, spongy click, or something keeps me from wanting to use those brands since I've used the Viper. Obviously, the shape is subjective, so if you've used the Viper V3 and didn't like the shape, you're not gonna like this. But I love the size shape, and weight. I can't wait to see the next Deathadder shed some weight to around 49g, and maybe implement some analog switches like the Logitech Superstrike. If they ever did that, I just hope they do weight balancing better because the superstrike is pretty front heavy, but I'm perfectly happy with Razer's optical switches because they just feel sooooo good. But I think the haptic analog switches would be very interesting in the Deathadder shape. I really don't know how they could improve on this other than finding more ways to lighten the weight even more. Razer might've perfected the Viper with this iteration. ... show more

  • New main. Excellent mouse with a ridiculous battery life
Color: White
The box didn't have much protection, but it arrived in great condition. As for the mouse itself, it is amazing. I won't talk much about shape because that's highly subjective (I'll just say it fits my hand size and grip style), but everything else is excellent: coating is smooth and grippy, very nice to the touch; main clicks are light and tactile, tho they could have a little less post travel; side buttons are well tensioned and positioned; the wheel might be the weakest aspect, because the scrolling feels a bit off, but it's totally functional; M3 click is very tactile; skates are smooth and fast; build quality is perfect, solid as a rock; performance is top tier, no complaints; and finally, the battery is absolutely insane. I have been using the mouse for 12 days at 1000hz (sometimes 8000, but only for a couple of Apex matches) and it has only gone down to 60%. On top of all of that, Razer has finally made a web software. That means 2 things: 1) you don't have to deal with the bloatware that is Synapse (except for firmware updates); and 2) you can change your settings on Linux, which has been a game changer for me (I dual boot Windows 11 and Bazzite). I think it is worth the price, but only if you don't have a Viper V3 Pro (or even a Viper V3 Pro SE). On paper, the V4 Pro has many improvements, but the only real upgrade that a player will notice is the battery life and the web software. I recommend it to people who have never owned a Viper V3 and want the latest technology and power efficiency. I can recommend it to those who just want to try the shape, but they might also want to take a look at the V3 Pro, since it is cheaper right now. ... show more

  • Worthy of the praise
Color: Black
I have been using it a full week now, and I think it's worth all the praise. It's a safe shape that will work for everyone except if your hands are on the smaller side. Switches, side buttons, scroll wheel, and sensor all feel perfect. My honest favorite thing about this mouse is the battery life is otherworldly good compared to anything I have used. I likely won't have to charge it until about 5-6 weeks of moderate to heavy use at 1000Hz, which is huge when I need to charge my other mice practically after a weekend. The first negative is the price is steep, especially when you could get the V3 Pro Se for like have the price. Two, the M1/M2 switches are on the loud side, but you won't notice them with headphones. You will annoy anyone around you though if they have to listen to you click. Three, the black version is a bit of an oil magnet, but the coating at least feels good. Might be worth using either Razer's provided grips or another brands for long-term use. Overall, it's a very good mouse if it's within your price range, and your hands are moderately large in size. Maybe it's placebo, but I also dropped my first nuke in Call of Duty on keyboard and mouse using it. That might be influencing might personal opinion of it, but I promise it's a great mouse. ... show more

  • Love this mouse!
Color: Black
The mouse is fantastic. It feels good in the hand, extremely light, buttons are very snappy, movement is extremely responsive, software is good. I honestly had a really good mouse already, but it was a little older and about 100 grams. With this mouse being half the weight I thought I’d treat myself and I’m glad I did. This thing is just great, 180 hr battery at 1000 Hz, but I really like the dynamic sensitivity. My previous mouse didn’t have that and I didn’t know what I was missing. Overall I was skeptical because of the price but I’m glad I bit the bullet and bought it. ... show more

  • Can’t go wrong with this one.
Color: Black
Honestly, it’s the best mouse i’ve ever owned. Nice weight, good quality scroll wheel / side buttons, battery life , and there’s no need to download razer synapse to edit its configuration. I definitely recommend this mouse to anyone in the look for a nice reliable (although pricey) mouse.

  • Loud clicking
Color: Black
The left and right clicking is very loud. Amazon sent me a used/dirty mouse that had the box seal broken and the mouse was not packed well in the box. It had a palm grease mark that I had to clean with an alcohol wipe. The price is way too high. The mouse is very light weight. It came with a grip tape for the side and mouse buttons. It is USB-C rechargeable. It is very responsive. Plug and play. Scroll wheel feels nice. DPI button on the bottom. The USB dongle shows the status of the battery, quality of connection, and DPI with three lights. ... show more
