  • Nice and very versatile microphone
Size: Microphone Color: Classic Black
This is the second Seiren X I buy. The first was for myself as an entry level streamer and the second for my son. Setup is plug and play, no software or drivers are needed in Windows 10. It will show up both as a mic as well as speakers due to its built in sound card which you can use to monitor yourself when speaking into the mic. There’s a headphone jack located below the mic next to the USB port and 5/8 mounting hole. Sound quality is good and mounting options are plentiful. I love having the built in mute and sound level controls right on the mic for those times when you need to quickly mute the mic or turn down your headset (if plugged to mic) I’ve used the mic on both PC and Mac and on each it works perfectly without need for adjustments. Streamlabs OBS which I use works perfectly with it. Below is a photo of my setup to highlight the attachment to my microphone arm. As long as your mic arm has a 5/8 threaded mount, the Seiren X will screw in easily. ... show more

  • Razer Seiren X review from a 3 year user.
Size: Microphone Color: Classic Black
I have been using the Razer Seiren X for 3 years now, in terms of quality, it is a great microphone. It comes with a durable stand and assembly. But, thats about where the good stuff ends. The quality of the microphone detiorates over time, every time you pull the mini-usb out of the microphone, it damages the port more and more and eventually the microphone begins to reconnect several times in a matter of seconds whenever you touch the cable, and not only all this, whenever this microphone reconnects it lags your computer. God forbid if your playing a game it can even cause a crash. Overall, a good mic for the first year, but after that it is just hell. I do not recommend this microphone if you are planning to use it for a long period of time. ... show more

  • Good audio quality, but some issues
Size: Microphone Color: Classic Black
Overall a solid sounding mic. Not too much to say there as I'm not an audio expert. However, there are two big problems with this mic: 1) You cannot put this mic anywhere close to your router/modem or you will get a constant buzzing and beeping sound. Even at about 6ft, you'll still hear this. I had to move mine off to the side of my room on the floor just to get the sound to stop. I'm not sure why this is as I've never had this issue with any other mics before. 2) No analog gain control. There's a volume knob on the mic, but it only controls the volume of the pass-through audio if you plug headphones into it. You'd think that something marketed for streaming and whatnot would have a gain knob since digital gain control is objectively worse. ... show more

  • not the greatest out of the box but once adjusted, very good. read if you hear helicopter noises
Size: Microphone Color: Classic Black
The media could not be loaded. really love this mic where i've gotten two so far. it looks super nice and while it is plug n play, you can make this thing sound really nice with other software and a bit of configuration. HOWEVER, DO READ THIS IF YOU PLAN ON BUYING A MIC ARM FOR THIS. okay so if you plan on attaching this to a mic arm, there is this weird helicopter sound when done so. not sure why it happens or what causes it, but there is an easy fix to this. i was frustrated for so long until i found how easy it was to fix. you will need to disassemble the bottom by removing the sticker and unscrewing it. then there is a large hollow part inside. just stuff a plastic bag inside and it should fix it. put it back together and put it on a mic arm and you're good to go. ... show more

  • Great When On Sale
Size: Microphone Color: Classic Black
I got this for around $60, which it still is at the time of writing this. This is an absolute STEAL, if you're in the market for streaming, video recording, and or just talking to your friends on a budget. I tried another microphone on here and it was a random brand for around the same price, it was so bad I returned it a few days later. I also like that it's compact, for people who don't like huge mics right in front of them this is a great go too. Sleek design as well and very durable, I dropped it like 2 times and not even a dent or change in mic quality and also great stabilization and no janky movement or weak thin plastic wires. Easy to setup and practically plug & play. It can even sit this baby at around 12 inches away and it still picks up great mic quality. This is so good for $99.99, but even 10x better at $59.99. ... show more

  • Awesome mic for the money and discord
Size: Microphone Color: Classic Black
Sound quality not as great as say a blue yeti, but the noise cancelation makes up for it. Use it mainly for gaming and discord and it does the job well. Would not recommend for anything like music, but for voice recording it does great. I live right next to a street with cars constantly passing and with the noise cancelation properly adjusted it works awesome. The stand is adequate, but I would highly recommend a mounted arm of some sort with a shock stand. I have found that drastically bimprobes the performance of most mics. I picked up a used blue yeti to compare. In summary if you have no background noise the yeti wins hands down; however, the yeti will pick up any noise especially if you have a clicky mechanical keyboard. In short, if you like to game or do online calls while using your computer and keyboard this is a great like for you. PS the passthrough works awesome as well. ... show more

  • Works great and sounds even better!
Size: Microphone Color: Classic Black
I found this at an amazing price and it outperforms any microphone I’ve used in the past. Setup was simple and it doesn’t take up much space on my desk. I also enjoy the green/red mute button on the device itself as it can be frustrating to find the mute button on a program. I’ve yet to have a bad experience with a Razer product. ... show more

  • Mic is wonky
Size: Microphone Color: Classic Black
Used it for a few months already and loved the sound quality in the beginning but noticed it started having a static feedback and overall almost a clicking sound I never moved the mic around so it was strange the way it started doing that , bought new wire and hoped it’d worked and overall one day just refused to connect to my pc and tried everything and just gave up good started for a few months otherwise not a good long term investment. ... show more
