This mic was so easy to set up. The best part, I had so many filters set up for my mic (different thresholds, gain reduction, etc) and I had NO IDEA why this mic sounded so bad on stream. Turns out, the software does everything I needed the filters for automatically. I deleted all those annoying filters that I had to adjust (almost) daily and BAM.     • The Mic is great. Wavelink is not professional.

I own two of the Wave:3 microphones, one for work and one for home studios. The audio quality out of the box is great. The wavelink software, on the other hand is a hot mess. I get everything set up perfectly then, one day, no sound. Everything is set as it should be. No changes to wavelink. If I manually move audio out to my sound card - perfect sound. I check for updates to the wavelink software and it shows one is available. I update the software and everything works again after much fidgiting. Okay so that's that, right? A week, a month or so later and a new update is release and the same thing happens. Another month or so and the same thing happens again. I'm using Windows 11 on both systems - one a Dell Aurora 13 and the other an HP Z Book Laptop on a dock. Had I known six months ago what I know now, I would not have purchase the Wave:3 mics. I think I'm just going to dump the wave stink software, entirely. It's a shame because I also have the Stream Deck plus on both machines and it was nice being able to manage audio from the Stream Deck. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Upgraded from a Yeti Nano mic and this one has so much better software. Wavelink alone makes this mic so much better. Since purchase they have added plugins allowing for EQ adjustment and Noise cancellation through NVidia cards. I later bought the pop filter and shock mount for this mic which make it the ultimate all around use mic. Its not going to be as good as a dynamic mic but it sounds pretty damn good!
