    • Best MMO mouse I've used...
The Naga X is it! As a long time WoW player since original TBC, I have used every mouse you can think of. When MMO mouses came out and I made the switch to using them, I have tried them all. I settled on the Naga Trinity which I have been using now for the last few years. Do they last long? Not really. I think I have been through around 4 or 5 Trinitys since I have used them. Either a side button stops working when pressed and doesn't register everytime or the scroll wheel gets really notchy and hard to use which I use alot. My last 2 Trinitys were bad scroll wheels. When playing I use scroll wheel up/down/click with shift modifiers whether it's arena targeting or other class abilities. Also the 2 buttons behind the scroll wheel I remap to ALT and Shift so I can hold that button down and use a key on my keyboard for a bind. I decided to try the Naga X this time recommend by a rank 1 glad player and it's nothing but amazing and an improvement over the Trinity IMO. It's noticeably lighter by a lot. Doesn't it feel sort of like cheap plastic? Yes, but I could care less. That's why it is light. I noticed the razer symbol on the back of the mouse doesn't light up like it does on the Trinity. I could care less, hand is covering that part of the mouse anyways. That's probably also why it lighter. Does the X have interchangeable side panels for the amount of buttons you want on the side? No, that's why I'm buying an MMO mouse so that's not important to me. If I wanted a mouse with 2 or 6 buttons than I'd be buying something else. Just a marketing thing in my eyes for the Trinity to give people more options. The PTFE feet seem to glide better and feel smoother. The speed flex cable on the X is amazing compared to the stiff Trinity cable, another plus. I've never been a fan of wireless mice like the Naga Pro for example. I don't ever want to worry about battery life or my mouse to stop working. It's like wireless internet compared to wired. An ethernet connection is much more secure and something less to worry about as with anything wired. A mouse is no different. The side buttons feel the same between the two, nice light click and responsive. The scroll wheel on the X beats the Trinity hands down. The reason is because the Trinity has tilt left/right and the X does not. That tilt left/right causes the scroll wheel to feel loose overtime and with my experience causes the gear in the scroll wheel to get notchy and cause scrolling problems. I never used tilt scroll wheel so it's not important to me. The scroll wheel on the X is solid and smooth as butter. No tilt left/right but nice solid smooth scroll up/down/click. The X only has one big button behind the scroll wheel which I remaped to ALT. For some reason I find hitting that 1 big button easier than the 2 buttons on the Trinity. I can live without a 2nd button, didn't really use it tbh. Can't miss it or fat finger a second button. Not really sure what else to say other than I'd highly recommend giving the X a shot if what I've listed is important to you. Time will tell now how the X holds up compared to the Trinity overtime but the Naga X is my new go to mouse. Going to buy another as a backup because they are on sale and I can buy 2 for the price of 1 Trinity. ... show more

    • it didnt have double clicking issues, it was Magical for a time.
I accidently amputated the main wire, so I have to pick up another one xD. great product though. the amputation was my fault. my speaker wire had just broken off on my pc and i wanted to remove them quickly. i cut the wires to the speakers off, unfortunately 1 of those wires was to this Magical mouse. i won't ask for a replacement, it was my fault in the first place the mouse became useless. ... show more

    • The best MMO mouse I've found.
I've had a love/hate relationship with Razer for years. I've liked some of their products, but they're a bit overpiced and they don't even feel like they're as high quality as other brands. I've had a lot of issues with the Synapse software as well, which I could rant about for a very long time. My biggest issue was that the side keys on my Naga would wear out eventually, which I would find out in the middle of a dungeon when my abilities aren't going off. This happened on two different Nagas, both lasting around 2 to 3 years before being replaced for the same problem. I had issues with my other Razer devices as well, so I eventually decided to ditch Razer. It wasn't hard to find a better keyboard and headset, but I couldn't find a better MMO mouse. Believe me, I tried. I had a problem with every one of them, usually with their software/functionality, but some of them had weird button placement that made using it awkward. The side buttons on one of them were raised up too far and had too much resistance. One of them was way too big for my hand and the buttons were spread out so that I felt I had to reach too far between presses. I went through 3 different brands before getting a non-MMO mouse. I couldn't get used to it. Once you've played WoW with your thumb on a 12-button keypad for 6 years, you just can't go back to a mouse with less buttons. Eventually I stopped trying to find a new mouse and just bought another Naga, and I will never look back again. This mouse feels nice in my hand, the buttons are well placed and angled so it takes minimal effort to press them quickly, even when reaching to the lower buttons. The software can be a pain to use but it gives you a lot of control over how the mouse works. Hopefully this one lasts me longer than the last few. But honestly, even if it doesn't, I'll still buy another one. I can complain about a lot of Razer's other products, but the Naga is still the best MMO mouse I've ever used. It'll take a lot to convince me to try another one any time soon. ... show more

Pros to the Razer Naga X, 1) It is a light mouse and the SpeedFlex Cable is very light so it doesn't feel "draggy" when moving around. 2) Clicks are satisfying, the 1-12 buttons on the side are sensitive so you won't need to be forceful with the buttons. 3) The scroll wheel feels nice as well -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- I couldn't test the mouse out in game, because the Razer Synapse 3 software is garbage. Well It could be good? The software will not install on my computer (running Windows 11 and error code is provided with screenshot). There is no support on Razer's site for an error code 121, trying the normal things of turning off firewall, running as admin, etc. doesn't change the result. TLDR; if you want to use the mouse as it is out of the box with no configuration and changing the keybinds to anything other than the default 1 through = keys, then this mouse will probably work for you. If you are anyone else, try seeing if the Razer software will actually download first before purchasing. For me it is let down by a bad software experience. Edit: After more tinkering and playing around in settings and trying to install Razer Synapse 2.0 which also failed to install, I got an error message that was more helpful in resolving the issue. Previous Razer devices owned had left a Razer folder in the Programs (x86) folder and made the folder read only. So any new Razer software installs going there were bound to fail. Updating the over rating to 4 out 5 because once the software is installed you be mouse is a joy to use. ... show more
