Good head set other than no volume control on head set. All ready had a Razer Kraken X headset with volume control, mute button. I ordered this by mistake for my second gaming rig. If you have a key board that has volume, mute these work great. The mic is top notch as is the sound.

When I first got my headphones I was really happy. That changed but very little because like you I read the reviews before purchasing the product. It is true that the headphones do have a really cheap feel to it making it think it will break easily. Being said I take good care of it because I know any thing done to the product will damage it easily. It does what it’s meant to do and the noise canceling is excellent, I can’t hear my mom complain around the house so that’s a bonus. Now with gaming I’m satisfied with the game sound so it’s not bad just good. Though I will say it’s a little overpriced with the material they used for this product. So if you buy please be very gentle because I don’t think they are made to last very long. ... show more

I think this is probably the most comfortable headset I’ve bought. Its super light just like it says and I’ve gamed for hours with no discomfort. The sound is great but the only bad thing is the quality of the headband. I’ve had the headset for about 10-11 months but the headband snapped on one of the sides after about 7-8 months and I had to fix it with tape. It still worked and fit good surprisingly. Both sides of the headband finally snapped after owning these for almost a year. I would buy again but I would be careful on the headband. ... show more

Bought these for my son over a year ago for gaming and listening to music. He’s had them on his head every day and they have been 100% reliable. I honestly just looked over at him and asked if he’s had any trouble out of them and he said no, which shocked me. I didn’t expect them to last this long. Great little headset!!! ... show more

Pros: -Solid construction -Sound is ok for the price range, but only if you download the 7.1 Surround Sound software. Cons: -No headset mute or volume controls, reliant on the software to manage this, so macros for some gamers will be required -Sound is tinny with less base than what I am used to, but comparable to others in this price range AFTER you download the software. -No individual ear adjustment so the fit can sometimes be uncomfortable over time if you are the wrong head shape. Not sure what the right head shape is, but its not mine. -No corded wire, just a rubber sheath, so less durable if you are in a place with pets that like to chew on cords. ... show more

If you are thinking of buying the Ultralight for PS4 or XBOX gaming, its not worth it. At that point, you may as well buy the Kraken X regular instead. It is not much more expensive, and gives your more control over your gaming. The Ultralight does not have a mute button, or a volume control, and the Kraken X has those. Other than that, the are the exact same, but it is worth it having a mute button and volume control. ... show more
