Overall Amazing product!! Got this for my partner and it's a huge upgrade from the previous one she had. There are some things that take away from it but nothing big enough to have negative view on it. Previous version was Razer Kraken BT Kitty Edition Pros: - Cable is already long enough but extension cord provided to double length. - Comfortable to wear - Standard sound without any software is already good but the when THX is enabled, the sound is amazing. - The 3 connectivity options are nice - RGB options are hella customizable - Included mic works really well and has good sound quality Cons: - Box showed signs of being opened and resealed (Box cover was resealed backwards so you could see when the the old tape was and where they put new tape) - You're suppose to be able to switch connectivity modes on the fly but if you connect Bluetooth then dongle (or vise versa) the software will struggle choosing which one to use and causes a whole mess of problems. You then have to power off and restart and only choose one. - Battery is marketed as lasting 50 hours and while it can last that long if you have RGB off, use dongle instead of BT, and have THX off. You get about 6-8 hours with everything running full throttle. ... show more

The fit is brilliant, and the sound is amazing. I haven’t had a chance to test out the mic fully, but it works great and goes really well with the rest of my Razer set. You do need to download the Pairing Utility from their website to use it via the USB dongle, but that’s a quick process. Honestly this is a brilliant headset for its price. This is a great wireless option for people with quieter voices that can't be picked up by headsets with no external mic. So far so good. It's really comfy and audio is good. I use it for work and gaming. Bluetooth isn't bad and I like I can finally move around my office without being tethered and I can push in the mic when I'm done talking and can just listen to music. I don't get a headache from the ear pressure.

I have the Kraken Kitty V1 and Bluetooth version and when I got these, there were like both of them in one but better. I can actually heard where enemies are instead of a vague idea. However, these headphones sound like (from my very limited knowledge) they have problems in the mid and high ranges as voices sound hollow and airy. The settings I made for movie, game, and music works great especially with the bass boost. Compared the the first version, I didn't need to change modes, all my audio sounded great with just one. Also the colors are a lot more accurate, white actually looks white! BIG PROBLEM! If you are using them for a Laptop or PC, do NOT connect them to Bluetooth if you want to use wireless mode! This will cause all your media to pause. Another weird thing, the adapter for the USB-C dongle is 4 feet long... Why? What do I need that excess length for? ... show more
