As soon as I brought the box in, I had to open it. I must have played it for 30 minutes right away. The glockenspiel, the stand, the music rack and the mallets, as well as the rehearsal drum were beautifully packed in the tote bag. The bag itself is well made with lots of pockets for everything, plus more pockets for anything else a musician might need. The notes are clear and in good tune. There are two types of plastic mallets. There is also a set of drumsticks for the practice drum. The instrument was already in one piece. The stand and music rack were simple to assemble. I love the adjustable height so I can practice standing or sitting. I can also adjust the tilt of the glockenspiel keyboard to suit my needs. I looked at a lot of glockenspiels, but for the price and all the things this included, it's the best set I have found. I will use this for my personal enjoyment and also in my role as a music teacher. I give this an A+ grade! ... show more

Decent for the price but you get what you pay for. Good enough for practicing, but not for performing. The metal bars are about half as thick as the ones on another 32-note Glockenspiel I own. These thinner bars do not resonate as long or loudly as a professional grade model, which cost a lot more.
