  • Good Quality.
Color: Classic Black
For a budget mouse, works great. No complaints. Buttons work, don’t stick and mouse wheel is smooth.

  • Excellent mouse; 6400 DPI…super responsive!!!
Color: Mercury White
This is my 2nd Razer DeathAdder Essential mouse and 4th Razer mouse in general as I am a big fan of Razer products. This particular mouse is a perfect size and ergonomically designed to fit any hands…it’s 6400 DPI; super duper responsive and has different speed choices that one can select by just pressing a button. This is particularly useful when you are playing games vs office work etc. The mouse works by default with any windows OS; you can also download the Razer software to customize the device further. I use this mouse predominantly for office work but also do occasional gaming in my new gaming PC. I also like the white color as it matches with my white PC. ... show more

  • Absolutely loved it, glad I bought 2
Color: Mercury White
I needed a wired mouse for home and work, as my Magic Mouse would frequently disconnect at coming out of sleep and tracking for other wireless mice like Logitech would sometimes stutter and lag. This was on sale so I decided to buy 2 to try, and so glad I did. I'm not using this for gaming at all, but it's perfect for normal work. It has a great feel in my hand, the wheel is perfect, and the side buttons automatically work as back/fwd buttons in the browser without any configuration. ... show more

  • Great quality for an affordable price.
Color: Classic Black
The Razer Deathadder Essential is part of Razer's best selling and legendary Deathadder lineup of gaming mice, and while most of its "cousins" tend to lean on the pricier side, the Essential is one that definitely stands out from the rest. I bought this for less than $30, but I feel like I got way more than what I paid for because it doesn't feel like an entry level gaming mouse at all. It's surprisingly light and its ergonomic design is perfect for my hand size. Some of the mice that I used in the past would cause me to feel small levels of discomfort after hours of continuous use, but this was not the case with the Deathadder Essential. I used it for more than about 5 hours straight and I didn't feel any discomfort or numbness around my fingers at all. It's durable enough to last for up to 10 million clicks, and unless you double click the left and right mouse buttons with the speed of a raging jack rabbit during mating season, I doubt you're gonna be able to get through all of those clicks in the next 5 years or so. Some of the reviews that I've read here have aired complaints about the bloatware that comes with it, but for me it wasn't really an issue. When you first plug in the mouse it will require you to install Razer Synapse where you can sign up with Razer and customize your mouse as you see fit. I only customized the lighting options as the games that I play really aren't that heavy on macros. The Synapse software is pretty intuitive and easy to navigate, so most users shouldn't have a problem understanding it after a few minutes of tinkering with its settings. My only complaint about the Deathadder essential would have to be the material used for its build. I'm not saying it's flimsy and breaks easily, but it doesn't feel as "aesthetically pleasing" as its more expensive counterparts. The quality is decent, make no mistake about it, but I guess for less than $30 you really can't expect it to look and feel like the Razer Mamba or Deathadder V2. Final Verdict: The Deathadder Essential is a very good option for those who want to purchase a basic and affordable gaming mouse that feels great, works great, and has a pretty neat look to it. ... show more

I have beat the ever loving hell out of this mouse. Literally SMASHING!!!! it out of uncontrollable anger, Then breaking it further by forcing parts back together. Swinging it by its cord into the cement floor, SHAT-TER-ING it, then forcing it back together, Poor thing, It's my internet that's the real problem, but the mouse is the one in the cross hairs in my fits of rage, still works great. But I think I need to get one with better tech, Even though it's working just the same as when I bought it. Just incase new tech sucks, ill keep ole smashee around. ... show more
