I purchased my first Bosca wallet five years ago on a visit to Charleston, SC. After five years, it was just starting to show its age so I decided to replace it. In my mind, five years of daily use shows really outstanding performance and durability. Before discovering Bosca, I had been using another brand that was very popular in the 90s. Unfortunately the quality of that brand's product declined to the point was I was barely getting only one year before they would wear out. The leather on the old brand would become stained after only a few months and the wallet just didn't look nice. The Bosca leather holds up and still looks very good. The other feature I really like on the Bosca is the ID pocket. It fits my driver's license perfectly, making it easy to show the photo ID when needed. A new feature is that RFID blocking is built in. This makes it far more difficult for illicit scanners to read your credit card chip information. That's a nice safety feature to have. I bought this Bosca wallet after the one I had carried for over 20 years was stolen from me. Even after all that time the wallet showed very little wear, just a bit at the corners. The quality of the "Old Leather" is exceptionally high, as is the quality of the construction. I've never owned a better wallet. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Absolutely. I’ve been buying this wallet for decades. I think this is #3. It’s still works great, but it’s starting to age (stitching wearing out). I use this particular wallet because it’s the most compact with a drivers license window and lots of pockets. Essentially, I like everything about this wallet.
