  • Great Keyboard for Light Gaming and Everything Else!
When purchasing this keyboard, my needs were something that allowed for more comfortability than my regular laptop keyboard, added aesthetic to my desk setup, and performed well. This Razer Cynosa Lite was EXACTLY what I was looking for and more. I was really happy with the price (first and foremost) and the added bonus of having the Razer brand. I love the feel and sound of the keyboard and the customizable backlighting as well. Even in full light exposure, the backlighting is still visible! So happy I went with the Cynosa Lite! ... show more

  • Missing basic features and non-standard layout
UPDATE: Had to drop it to 1 star. Here are the other issues I've found since the old review: - The backlit keys are barely visible in the dark. Really gotta work the eyes to see the symbols on the keys. - The symbols on keys that require you to hold shift to type are all on the bottom of the key face instead of the standard way of putting them on the top. Seems minor, until you actually need to look at the keys and it throws off your muscle memory because, well, every keyboard I've ever seen has the shift symbols on the top of the key, not the bottom! - When I lock my windows 10 computer using the win key + L, the computer locks no problem. When I unlock it, the enter key becomes "stuck". It's not physically stuck, just acts as though I'm holding it down. Have to unplug the keyboard and plug it back in, or restart the computer to fix it. And restarting the computer can be tricky when the enter key is being spammed. - Synapse 3.0 is a garbage macro utility. It is not possible, at the time of this writing, to create a toggle macro. So, if you want to be able to press 1 button to turn on a macro, then press that same button to turn it back off, you're out of luck. Gotta bind two different keypresses. Think autorun. When you want to just click one button to start running, then click that button again to stop running, you can't. Not with Synapse 3.0. In the end, this is the most I've ever spent on a keyboard, and it's the worst keyboard I've ever used. Even my $20 wireless keybaord+mouse combo from logitec was better in pretty much every way, even for gaming. OLD REVIEW: I should have investigated the keyboard a little more before buying. There's a reason it's so cheap. It's missing a lot of basic keys that even my $10 junker keyboard has. - no standalone media keys (pause/play/skip/etc) - no standalone volume keys - no standalone macro keys Most of those missing standalone keys have a function key instead (hold the fn key then press the associated F# key). ... show more

  • Durable and high quality
I bought a few different types of keyboards. Both broke quickly. I already fear the quality of each key as I press it. I’m not a big gamer so can’t say much about those features but the keyboard is durable and high quality.

Key is really good for the price. I have had it for about 2-3 months hasn’t broken. The lights aren’t backlight the letters only light up.
