I ordered this thing renewed. Totally worth it. Saved about $80usd. Everything works no problem. The keyboard itself is a little pricy but it is packed with tons of features. The software, Razr synapse, seems to be far better developed than most other software. There is a small learning curve. I was able to get everything set up fairly easily. Macros, lighting, etc. I paired the Black Widow v4 pro with a basilisk v3 pro and man they are stunning. I found that synapse can even control the argb on my motherboard and works way better than the native motherboard software does. So, win win for me. The response on this keyboard is insane and can be set to poll at 2000. I got the green switches. I love the clicky og feel of them. They are loud. I also have a black widow mini with the yellow switches. If you don’t want all the noise, get the yellow switches. They are much quieter. The pro version does have two wires. One for the keyboard itself and one for powering the rgb. There is also a usb pass through giving you a great place to plug in your mouse dongle to take advantage of light speed tech. Allot of people complain about the two wires, but I’ve noticed most high end wired keyboards with usb pass through and rgb seem to all have them. So, I fully anticipated this and accept it. It worked great the first few days, but unfortunately the A key slowly became less and less responsive, even with me jamming my finger against the key. Eventually, as a previous poster mentioned, the A key was mostly dead- only responding in 1 out of 6 keypresses. On top of that, not only is it not covered by warranty, but I was left unable to refund it due to losing the box. Now I am stuck with a very expensive, and very useless paperweight. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM. The defect in this product basically turns all Razer Blackwidows with soldiered in switches into a ticking timebomb that is waiting to break on its user. I would give it half a star if I could. Reseller was prompt with shipping, and there was some minor cosmetic issues, to their credit at least. ... show more

    • a very fancy keyboard
The shipping was a little weird... No outer box or anything - just stuck in a big padded envelope. So it arrived a little squished, but intact. The packaging for the keyboard seemed off, too. I'm more-used to glossy boxes with pretty pictures and lots of foam or cardboard filler to protect the device. This was just a plain brown box with the Razer logo on it. But, weirdness with packaging and shipping aside, the keyboard is pretty nice. I got the tactile switches, rather than the linear, so they're nice and clicky. The RGB lighting is fun. Even the wrist-rest has lighting. I like that there's a separate mute button, instead of integrating it into the volume scroll-wheel. And the extra macro buttons and knob are handy. What may not be obvious from the pictures is that there's a couple additional buttons on the left edge of the keyboard. All things considered, I'm pretty happy with this purchase. I'll start off saying that I'm not a gamer. I was looking for a mechanical keyboard for work that had a few key features: - Full Size - Backlit - Fully Mechanical with replaceable keys - Dedicated Programmable Macro Buttons - Easy to Use Software For as much as most places are charging, you'd think that they'd all come with the above list of items, but it was very difficult to find any at all that fit the bill. I came across the Razor 4s, and decided to purchase it once I saw the refurbished version for $80 less than new. I love this keyboard as it more than meets my needs and is easily to configure to my needs on the fly. Great value ... show more

    • THIS PRODUCT IS "REFURBISHED"
Firstly, this was, and still is not titled as refurbished. That in it's self bothered me, but not enough to prompt a return. When the package arrived the box was seemingly torn into and then mended with scotch tape. All paperwork including instructions and warranty papers we're missing and poorly packaged. This was troubling, but still not enough because my computer desperately needed a new keyboard (old one bricked). When I set up the keyboard I found out that the "D" key was unresponsive about 80% of the time. I took the key caps off, blasted it with air, drivers, the works, nothing. Now I'm furious. I'm pretty sure the keyboard wasn't "refurbished" and was simply re-sold. This defect would have been instantly noticed if it was actually tested. I should have noticed that 21% of customers left 1 star reviews before I bought this. Now I'm stuck without a keyboard while I wait a month for a refund. update: I kinda hit it a few times and now it seems to work fine. Still kinda mad though. Sorry for yelling. I will return with another update in the future. ... show more

    • Really good key board
It is good but just have to get used to it. Did find that some of the key binds were loose in the package but that wasn't too hard to fix. I just got it though, will see if problems arise soon.

    • Great replacement for the Blackwidow Ultimate I used for the last decade.
The individually addressable RGB lighting is great for tying the keyboard in with the rest of my setup. The Razer Green switches feel just as good as the Cherry MX Blue switches I had in my old board. I love the programmable macro keys and the audio controls in the top right corner. The only thing I'm missing from my old Ultimate is the audio pass-through. That was nice to be able to plug into the back of the PC once and then be able to plug and unplug right at the keyboard when I wanted to take my headset with me. ... show more

    • Defective keyboard, defective customer support
I bought this keyboard on Amazon in June 2024 and haven't been able to use it much. Last month, keys in the bottom right quadrant of the board (including space bar) started to not respond. I contacted Razer support about this after seeing several people on the support forums having the same issue, and they rejected my claim stating I bought it from eBay. Buyer beware, Razer doesn't want to help you and Amazon can only do so much. Video is of my space bar only responding some of the time. ... show more
