  • Excellent Keyboard for the Price
Pattern: Green Switches - Tactile & Clicky
This keyboard feels great to type on—responsive keys with just the right amount of feedback. The build quality is solid, and it doesn’t feel cheap at all. Whether I'm gaming or typing for hours, it stays comfortable and reliable.

  • Cursed Keyboard: Massive Well Known Key Spamming Issues - Razor Will Not Fix It Ever & Doesn't Care
Pattern: Yellow Switches - Linear & Silent
Summary: Key spamming/repeat will be a forever issue if you buy this keyboard. Nothing will fix it either. This is not a hot swappable keyboard so don't think you can fix it. Razer will not help you either. Known issue for years (reddit). I've been in agony constantly fixing spamming errors, my pinky hurts. All Razor keyboards have issues with "Repeating Keys" double ee, tt, ww, aa, uu, cc, etc. This has been happening with this keyboard for an entire year with me and longer for others. Settings changes, new switches, re-installs of program/drivers and more tier 1 trouble shooting will not cure the issues. The official razor community has had a thread for this issue open for over a year and is well known in reddit as well. The macros frequently decide to stop working as well. I can say that the build quality and materials are top quality and i love the feel and tactile buttons and the rolling sound bar and mute buttons. But a keyboard that isn't able to function as a keyboard is simply unacceptable. Imagine spending all that money on an brand new quality car and the engine randomly turns off for no reason and there is no way to fix it from the dealer. That's what will happen to you if you buy a razor keyboard for yourself or your loved ones. Until that issue is fixed, please save yourself the suffering and hours of agony trying to fix it. ... show more

  • Got as a gift to a friend, they love it!
Pattern: Green Switches - Tactile & Clicky
I have a great friend I wanted to get some things for his birthday for him and this was one of them he has had his eye on this keyboard since they came out so it was easy to figure out witch one to get him as he has wanted this one fora long time. He loves how bright the lighting is how clicks the keys are and the feel of it all. It is not quiet at all it is very clicky and it is rather loud. The responsiveness is super great though and there is no arguing the quality of the keyboard. He loves the design and has so much love for the chroma settings it's clear he's a fan boy of them for good reasons. ... show more

  • Yellow Key Version Perfect For Sound And Quality
Pattern: Yellow Switches - Linear & Silent
I have tried both the green keyed and yellow keyed version of this keyboard; I ended up returning the green keyed one because it was obnoxiously loud when typing, and despite the yellow keyed saying it’s silent, it’s not quite silent but quiet enough that I’m happy with it. It is a little awkward having the additional macro keys on the far left, very used to esc being top left key so I’m going to have to get used to that. Keys are vibrant and I’m really impressed with the color display; works great with SignalRGB for synchronization between other RGB devices. The wrist pad that comes with it feels great, it’s some sort of gel inside with a very soft leather like surface. It feels solid as well and each key acts independently from the others next to it. I feel bad for others with the issues they described with double typing and such, but the like new version I got doesn’t have those issues yet. ... show more

  • Not like my previous Black Widow Keyboards
Pattern: Green Switches - Tactile & Clicky
I have had Black Widow keyboards for years and really enjoyed using them. So I didn't really look that closely at the reviews for this keyboard and should have. Many of the features this keyboard provides are indeed good but it's bloated with software that I don't really need. The feel of the keyboard is just OK, but it doesn't have the feel of my previous Black Widows that had cherry mx keys. I like a clicky keyboard and this isn't that. Like most gamers I normally play on my computer in a fairly dark room and the lighting works well under those conditions. But here is my biggest complaint is with the lighting. When you first power up the computer the keyboard is dark, no lighting. Halfway through the boot up the keyboard lighting comes on (green lighting). But then when you get to the login prompt the keyboard software starts loading and the keyboard is not functional until the software get through loading. Also if you do a reboot of the computer the keyboard is completely dark on boot up and stays that way until you get to the login screen, at which point the lighting changes, goes through it's flashing color sequence until it finally loads the color scheme I have selected. So overall after my experience with this keyboard I doubt I will ever purchase another Razer keyboard. ... show more

  • Volume roller is great. Macro keys placement isn't. Meets my standards for Razor quality.
Pattern: Green Switches - Tactile & Clicky
Works as I expected Razer keyboards to perform... Optimally until I spill something on it lol. The "Roller" for the audio is a nice touch. I hate the finicky volume control on my headphones. This roller has distinctive notches that help you control the PC volume nicely. The macro keys on the left confuse my fingers. I expect the top left button to be the ESC key and has taken time to get used to. Because of accidently doing this so much. I am not using them for anything. I also inadvertently hit the bottom macro key thinking it is CTRL. The wrist rest is also a nice pillow instead of a hard piece of plastic. So for the first time in my life I am actually using it. ... show more
