This is basically the only mouse I buy. My previous mouse was also a Razer Basilisk, an older model from around 2017, and it served me extremely well for years. My daughter eventually broke it, so I needed a replacement. I originally decided to try something different and bought an ASUS ROG Harpe Ace 2. Unfortunately, my experience with it was terrible. Bluetooth was extremely spotty, and the 2.4 GHz connection would stutter unless I had the dongle practically an inch away from the mouse. It became way too much troubleshooting for something as simple as a mouse. I still have the ASUS, but at this point it’s basically just sitting unused in a drawer. That’s what brought me back to what I already knew worked: the Razer Basilisk. The Basilisk V3 Pro 35K immediately reminded me why I liked this design so much. At around 112 grams, it’s definitely not trying to be an ultralight gaming mouse, but I actually prefer the extra weight. It feels substantial and controlled in the hand without feeling excessively heavy. The shape is extremely comfortable for me, and the materials and overall construction feel premium. Nothing about it feels cheap. Tracking has also been excellent. I’m using it on a glass mouse pad, and it worked beautifully right out of the box. I didn’t have to mess around with settings or troubleshoot tracking issues—it was smooth, responsive, and accurate immediately. Wireless performance has also been rock solid, which was especially refreshing after my experience with the ASUS. I also really like the Basilisk layout. The extra buttons are useful without making the mouse feel cluttered, and the scroll wheel is one of my favorite parts of the design. Overall, it feels like a mature product that has been refined over multiple generations rather than something trying to reinvent the mouse. My biggest complaint is the switches. I really wish Razer would offer a tactile switch option instead of only the traditional clicky feel. I personally prefer a deeper, more tactile feedback, and having that option from the factory would make this mouse almost perfect for me. After trying something else, I’m glad I came back to the Basilisk. My old one lasted me for years, and the V3 Pro 35K feels like a proper modern replacement: premium materials, comfortable weight, excellent tracking—even on glass—and, most importantly, a wireless connection that just works. ... show more

So far, so good. I got this to replace my old Logitech M720, that until about a month ago was working just fine. Through some combination of updates, either Windows, Logitech, or both, it started giving me issues with click/drag and selection, so the hunt was on for a new mouse. This one is expensive AF, but it had the fastest delivery option. The Razer Synapse software is nightmarishly complicated to figure out. You will need ChatGPT to help you, but it is posible to configure program specific functions for all the buttons. And once you do figure it out, it's easy to use. I have one set to do a Ctrl+click, one to do Ctrl+W, and one to do Enter in chrome, and it works flawlessly. There is zero lag, and I can once again select text with ease, and slide the time bar in Wondershare Filmora to precisely seek to points in videos I'm editing. You can set up multi-step button/mouse actions to happen with a single click with a macro. And if set up properly, the mouse just knows what program it's being used in. You don't have to manually switch button profiles each time you open a different program. That was a major non-negotiable thing for me. I love this thing. No more dropped selections and executions of click commands that I did not initiate. The Logitech is getting the hammer. I'll probably keep this, even though I have two other cheaper ones coming to test. It fits my hand well, and the button placement is equal to, or more convenient than, my old one. It is possible to turn off all of the lights, though I don't know how I did it exactly. I'm enjoying this mouse it seems high-quality and I love the phantom green color. The ergonomics are great. The buttons are clicky but a bit on the loud side. It glides smooth. The software functions well although it's bloated. The mouse wheel auto transitions between scroll and smooth scroll better than I thought it would. There are some negatives the mouse is overweight. I think it's around 112 g. I wish it was 20 to 30 g lighter. I also miss the index finger buttons of the G502 I wish it had those. ... show more

I had a really old Logitech mouse and was overdue for an upgrade. I game a lot and have bigger hands, so I spent some time researching, trying to find something that wouldn't result in cramps or awkward grips. I know the fit comes down to grip style, but I never gave it much thought before this purchase. I noticed that my hand very naturally met the form of the mouse, and it stays comfortable to use throughout the day. I will work for a full 8 hours and then spend a few hours in the evening gaming, and it just feels great. I use it with the wireless charging hub, and I have no issues with latency or lag. The charge will last for multiple days if I forget to set it on the charging dock overnight. The mouse feels sturdy and firm with a good weight to it. Never too heavy or cumbersome. The wheel scroll is clean and it has just the right amount of extra buttons for productivity and gaming macros. 100% reccomend. ... show more
