Overall, I love the look, and I found the stools to be comfortable and easy to assemble. I would have given them four stars, but for one annoyance - they are just the right height to keep getting stuck underneath my standard height countertop. When I sit on the stool, the pneumatic cylinder compresses enough that the back of the chair just fits under the lip of the counter, but when you get up, it rises above the lip. So if you swivel before you get out, like most people do, the back of the chair gets stuck, and so the top of the back of the chair is getting scratches. If the chair back was a little taller, this wouldn't be a problem.
