    • Great speaker but wouldn't pay list price of $135.
Got it for less than $40 heavily on sale from $135 (they say). I personally don't think it's worth $135. I'd pay upwards of $100. This technology is pretty cheap now. Sounds great, not as loud as I expected but that's fine, still plenty loud for me. Just depends on where you put it. In open space I wouldn't be able to hear it while running power tools of any kind. In the corner of my kitchen, and on the shelf in my bedroom tho (where I use it 90% of the time), it sounds great. Well balanced bass, mids, and treble. Doesn't get down to the low bass, but would you expect a speaker this small to? If so, you're crazy. In most music, you can hear the harmonics of low bass anyway, if it's at all "dirty." Clear vocals and in stereo. Haven't used it to call but I don't plan on it. Charge time is kind of long but I'm picky. You can play it while you charge it anyway. Now it's time to get a card so I can play music without my phone. To save battery I'd run it no more than 2/3 full volume, as any higher than that (with my phone at least) is just pushing the speakers harder without getting much louder. Although full volume still sounds clear across all frequencies. I'd record sound but my microphone sucks on my phone. I'd buy again if it lasts more than 3 years while retaining battery life. I know the limits of lithium batteries and it's holding up well now, so I'd expect it to last. ... show more

I got love for this speaker. I've heard or had a bunch of speakers from JBL, Sony, etc to Bugani, W-king, etc. From higher price to lower priced models. But guess what they all had in common? That bass!!! Raymate's 30 Watt speaker joins the club. I'm not an audiophile but the R5 Pro sounds clear and really good with banging bass. Not as good as JBL or Sony but not that far behind. I got mine for $35 total price. The battery sucks though. All the way up about 2 hours BUT you can play it and charge it at the same time. That saves it. This is great for a small get together in the apartment and small outside gathering. Absolutely perfect for a basement party. I actually use this to mix my songs with instead of my monitors in my home studio. I'm about to buy another one. ... show more

What a great little speaker. It has a silicone cover with the edges supported more which is great if you bump it. I bought this for use outside on the deck in the summer to listen to music and podcasts. Battery life seems pretty good. It has a couple of sound setting and the controls are on top of the speaker for easy access and use. There is a auxiliary cord that comes with it wih is nice because I still have a working I pod player and can listen to songs from there. I love this speaker!! I've owned others, but none were as loud or has as much bass as this one. I use it every morning to get ready for my day and while I'm showering, working out, hiking, cleaning and spending time with family on the deck. If you enjoy your music loud, crisp and clear, and full of bass then this is the speaker for you. This provides much more sound than expected for the size. Small radio but has huge amazing sound. Great Bass and wonderful overall sound. One of the best Bluetooth radios I've ever purchased. I have a Bluetooth radio fetish for some reason. These are adequate little speakers. Have them in true stereo. Quite heavy for their size but not sure if it's the housing or the drivers. Decent mids but lows are non-existent. I'll be loosening them up to see if they improve but a likely return.
