As I age, I’m having more trouble seeing clearly, especially in bright sun. I have several pairs of expensive sunglasses but they are just not much help lately. Vacation to Florida coming up so I decided to try a step up with the RayBan and another brand name pair of shades, just to see if either would make a difference in my vision. Well, these did! Maybe it’s the polarization or maybe it’s because the lens are glass rather than plastic…but I can see much, much more clearly with the RayBans. I returned the other pair (which cost more). These are attractive, perhaps a bit heavier than normal shades but not really noticeable. Pricey but worth it.

I have always bought Polarized sunglasses...always felt that was the #1 feature in a pair to really protect the eyes. I was looking for a new pair after 5 years of wearing my old one (another brand - Gucci which does make a great pair of sunglasses too). I did some research and settled on: Kaenon, Oakley, Maui Jim and Ray Ban. I REALLY liked Kaenon, the reviews and reputation were solid but they were twice the price as this pair. I can't speak enough for the value of this pair given the price Amazon is selling this pair right now. I wear my sunglasses all the time since I drive around a lot and the visibility is great. Fit is perfect, I have a medium sized head and the glasses wrap around snug/secure but extremely comfortable - as if this was made for my face. Like what other reviewers say, the frame size is bigger than average, but it works for the face. I still have a super old pair of Ray Bans (10 years old) and they are still in perfect condition. Highly recommend this brand and this pair.

We've been searching for the perfect pair of sunglasses throughout the malls and sunglass' shops for about a month. Being on a limited budget, my wife had postponed buying any sort of sunglasses she really liked. So the last time she was at the mall and tried on several pairs of sunglasses, she found these to fit her face the best. They weren't too big yet still wrapped around perfectly with comfort. She liked these over the Maui Jim sunglasses as well. We couldn't really make sense to buy them right then and there so I grabbed the model numbers and went to my favorite shopping site online... Amazon! This is where I found these same glasses for about 20% less. I jumped on them right away and my wife was super excited when they showed up in the mail. The shipping was super fast and perfect packaging as well. These are the perfect sunglasses for my wife.

I bought these sunglasses on a whim. I was a tiny bit concerned about not being able to try them on first, but figured "I'll just return them if they don't work out". I honestly don't know if I would have bought them if I had tried them on first, since they are totally different from any others that I've ever worn and I probably would have scared myself away from them. However, they arrived the day before leaving for my Florida vacation, I put them on and fell in love. They look really good on me! ( my husband has confirmed this. ) They are a tad heavy on the ears, and I have to take them off every so often to rest my ear tops for a minute or so, and then put them back on, its not too big of a deal given the fashionability of them. I love the polarization, and won't buy sunglasses without it after having Maui Jim's for several years now. The lenses aren't too dark, but that's what I prefer, they may not be dark enough for some people though. I would recommend. After making the leap from cheap sunglasses to quality, polarized eyewear, I am not going back. It makes such a difference and is worth the extra cost, particularly if you have sensitive eyes. These sunglasses are slightly bigger than what I would normally wear - my favorite has been the Kate Spade Annika (polarized) style which is just right for my small face. These Ray-Bans are larger due to the wraparound style, but not too oversized as to look funny. I am petite (5 ft) so I find that many styles are overwhelming for me, but these are not. They do not slip off when I look down, which was my experience with the RB new small wayfarers. As the lenses protect the sides of the eyes too, I think it will be very helpful for active outdoor activities or even just driving with the sun on one side. As stated in other reviews, they are slightly heavier than what I'm used to - my Kate Spades are 1 1/8 oz and these Ray Bans are 1 1/4 oz (I weighed them on my kitchen scale!) - so not a huge difference, but MAYBE enough to be discernible when worn for a long time. I took off one star for that reason. As it is winter here I have not worn this new pair out in the sun for very long yet so I'm not sure if the weight will be a uncomfortable when worn for extended periods. Overall, I love the rectangular shape and the brown frame which softens the look. The item was packaged well and included the case and cleaning cloth.

These were the quality I expected and really comfortable. The arms worked well and they fit beautifully. I like this style for wearing sunglasses as a hairband indoors and this shape works well for a comfortable headband. Unfortunately Amazon sent green lenses when I ordered brown so I returned them straight away. The boxes aren’t marked well as far as the style/color, so I’m not even annoyed about that. Went to a store today that sold Ray Bans but they didn’t have this model so I got a lovely pair of Jackie Oh with gradient brown lenses. I just can’t justify the cost of these for a lens color that is too dark because I need more versatility in my sunglasses.
