    • Decent replacement
The 10x10 replacement canopy has held up very well for me through many storms including ice and snow with Gusty winds. Decent material and seems well made. My only complaint is that the corners are too tight making it difficult to put on and take off causing the corner stitching to come apart. There are many different frame manufacturers so this may not be the case for all. This review is after 7 months of use. I would have given it five stars if it weren't for the tightness and stitching issue. ... show more

We have purchased these 8x8 Pop Up Canopy Top Replacement Covers (top only) on two separate occasions. In both instances, the covers developed small tears soon after purchase. The most recent cover was bought just three days ago, and when it rained, water pooled on top and caused the tears to worsen. We have purchased several pop-up canopy tops over the past decade, but this is the only brand we have used that tears so quickly and develop larger holes.     • Excellent replacement cover!
Fits my 1990's Quickshade EZup perfectly! Just measure yours across the top corners...even though my EZup is a 10'x10', it measures 8' at the top. This replacement top is heavier fabric than the original, and uses straps instead of velcro down the long sides. Time will tell how it does on windy days, but I only use it at a swap meet booth on occassion. The corners don't have as much velcro as the original top, but the corners fit snug enough to hold in place. For the price, this top was a EXCELLENT value. The cover fit perfectly on the pop-up. It seems to be a better quality product than the one that came with the pop-up. I have not used it in the wind, but I’m sure it’s gonna be fine. It seemed that it was thicker than the original. It has clips that attach to the frame which appear very strong that I’m sure will add to life of the cover. ... show more

    • Not very impressive
I bought a slant-leg tent from a local sporting goods store whose canopy was so good it lasted two years of everyday use in the scorching Florida sun. Finally, it gave up the ghost, got very thin, then started tearing. Unfortunately, this store didn’t sell canopy replacements. My frame was still solid, so I looked around for another canopy on Amazon. This one cost as much as I paid for my tent, but it was the right size. I read the company owners’ blurb about why they decided to design their own canopy and their words made it sound like this was going to be a heck of a good product. First off, this canopy is like plastic vinyl raft material, which engenders no confidence in its longevity. It even smells like vinyl plastic. Second, the velcro in the corners isn’t industrial, it’s just the regular stuff, so its adhesion is lackluster. Third, the double fabric in the corners, where the canopy suffers the most stress, is cheesy and unruly: it crinkles and bunches, and folds in on itself. My original canopy from the sporting goods store had tough velcro and no-nonsense corner reinforcement, not to mention the fabric was cool yet highly durable. This mediocre replacement canopy suffered an untimely demise when I forgot to remove the canopy one evening, and it poured rain. (I work under my tent every day.) The weight of that rain took down and bent the entire original tent framework and shredded this canopy along straight lines. The loss of the tent framework bothered me more than losing this unimpressive canopy. Ultimately, I ended up going back to the sporting goods store and I bought another well-made, rugged tent with durable corner reinforcements, tough velcro, and a true canvas-like material that doesn’t smell like plastic vinyl. ... show more

    • Excellent fit to old EZ Up 8x8
This top fit our old EZ-Up frame perfectly, and the construction looks solid - thank you Breezy & Co! I was pretty annoyed when I contacted EZ Up about a replacement and they said they no longer carried replacement tops but they would be happy to sell me a whole new canopy - argh. My only suggestion is that the dimension info could be a little clearer, as I really didn't want to order a top and find out it didn't fit, and there seems to be significant variation in how peaked the tops are with different manufacturers. The product page says that it is 8 x 8, aka 95.86" x 95.86", which are functionally equivalent and match our frame when measuring the area that the top goes over. However, the 51" 'height' could be confusing as it is shown along the sloped top of the cover, so it's more a diagonal than a "height", and it's not totally clear that it's the diagonal perpendicular to the side. The 51" length does roughly match what I measure along the slope from the peak to the edge, which was reassuring, but it would have been helpful to also have a true height measurement of the peaked portion, which I measure as ~20-21" (peak to top edge of frame). Along the same lines, the package insert that came with the top is confusing on sizing - the front says it's an 8x8/96 x 96 x 70 (what's the 70???), but the back says "Your frame should measure 10' across the top", and "This canopy cover will not fit frames smaller or larger than 10 x 10", so those had me nervous until I got it out and verified the fit on my frame. ... show more
