I have no idea who thought this was a good idea but they probably should be let go. Traditional sunglasses lenses are curved in the direction of the curvature of the eye. The result of reversing the curve is that details in the center look clear but when you try to look at an object out of the corner of your eye you will get a funhouse mirror effect like you are wearing a pair of glasses that is not your prescription. Of course you could always turn your head to look at objects but really why not just go for the traditional lenses? ... show more
