HS son wanted this for his catcher’s gear (adult sized). It fits his shin guards, chest protector and catchers helmet and mitt easily. He’d gone through so many other catchers bags where he’d have to almost put a puzzle back together to get everything to fit. This is so much easier and he can pick up faster. He uses a bat pack for his hitting stuff and bats. Having two bags like this he says is actually much easier to get them on the bus after school to a game. 1year update-my son has been using this bag for 1 full year of baseball (school seasons & travel ball) and last week the zipper broke. The rest of the bag is in great shape, unfortunately the zipper just didn’t hold up.

This bag fits everything. Two bats, catchers helmet, leg guards, chest protector, glove, batting helmet, elbow guard, cup, two pairs of cleats, and a big water bottle, some baseballs, and batting gloves. Maybe a hoodie. But, the zipper is buns and is breaking after 3 hours of use. For the price, its amazing. Just find a way to fix the zipper and you’ll be fine.

Bought on Amazon during December 2025. Since it is seasonal equipment, we just opened it today. Tried the zipper once and it broke. I don't want it, can't use it and am told it is too late to return, even though it is in pristine condition.

I bought this for my then-10-year old son playing Little League 18 months ago, specifically because he wanted to catch and we got him some catcher's gear that he'd need to bring to practices and games. First, the good news. This bag is huge. If packed correctly, it holds youth catchers shin guards with the Knee Savers pads, a chest protector, a catcher's helmet/mask; a batting helmet, a catcher's mitt, a fielder's glove, two bats, a water bottle, and assorted other small equipment such as a few baseballs, batting gloves, shoes, J-bands, etc. It's also durable, having been dragged back and forth to easily over 200 practices, games and private workouts, etc., and despite getting thrown down in the bottom of the dugout, dragged and kicked around etc. It's got some worn edges, but everything's intact including the seams, all zippers work. So far, so good. The problem is the little things. A bag this size for a little leaguer that doesn't have wheels could sure use some padded straps to sling over one's shoulders. Yes, it's not a backpack, but realistically a Little Leaguer isn't going to carry this around like a duffel bag given its size and likely weight of all of the equipment. This would be a large duffle bag for an adult. Instead it's simply got adjustable loop straps on either side. My son still wore it like a backpack and made do. Second, the pockets/compartments are limited. There's a larger collapsible compartment for shoes, but honestly that rarely gets used because it's not ventilated and it gets crushed with the other equipment in the bag, so you may as well just throw your shoes into the main compartment anyway. I think my son only ever threw his (hard) sunglasses case in there. There's only one other pocket, a single flat, rectangular pocket on the broad side that can only hold smaller items - batting gloves, keys, small snacks, etc. It's large and deep, but fishing around in there isn't great. There are no internal pockets, which it seems like there could be, to help sort out your smaller pieces of gear, e.g. batting gloves in one, J-bands in another, etc. When you have catcher's gear filling the large compartment, finding small items in the bottom of the bag (always) is a real pain. It also lacks a hook to hang it on the fence, which would be a nice feature, but you can get a carabiner d-hook if you really want one, but be forewarned that the bag doesn't hold its shape by itself and needs equipment inside to do that, so the hook may not work very well anyway. I'd buy this if you've got a young catcher and you don't want to bother with any really expensive gear. It'll do and will get you through Little League/rec ball. If your son or daughter is a bit more serious, however, I'm sure there are better bags out there.
